La dauphinais is a pretty,recently renovated,two bedroom
cottage situated in a tranquil countryside setting with magnificent
views.
There is a large open plan oak beamed dining room/sitting room and modern kitchen with French doors opening out on to expansive gardens with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.The kitchen has a modern gas/electric cooker,dishwashing machine,fridge-freezer and microwave.The sitting/dining room has comfortable seating with a large woodburner,satellite TV and video.
On the first floor there are two double bedrooms with wooden floors,exposed oak beams and built-in wardrobes.One bedroom has a double bed which can be converted into two single beds and the other has a double bed and a single bed.
The bathroom has a corner bath with shower unit attachment,a washhand basin and WC.There is a seperate WC on the same floor.
La Dauphinais is just 2kms from the picturesque and very friendly village of Langourla.In the village you will find the local amenities including three bars,restaurant,village shops,post office,tennis courts and a large lake.The Centre Equestre providing horseriding,the National Stud and an Indoor Swimming Pool are situated at Lamballe which is about a 30 minute drive with an Outdoor Swimming Pool 15minutes away at Merdrignac.
A popular feature of the local area is the abundance of superb off-road walking/cycling routes taking in the beautiful countryside and breathtaking views.A visit to the Abbaye de Boquen,run by the Silent
Order of Monks is a must.
Langourla is ideally situated for touring Brittany taking in such attractions as Mont St.Michel,Dinard,Dinan and the fantastic coastline and beaches of the renowned Côtes d'Armor.The town of
St.Brieuc and the city of Rennes,both within easy driving distance,provide first class in town and out of town shopping facilities.There are many first-class beaches both on the North and South coasts in reasonable driving distance.
