CHINESE UK ARTS - 2006

Free Training Day on Chinese Culture

The session is aimed at anyone interested in exploring creative ways to educate young people about Chinese Culture and raise awareness of global diversity. This year the Chinese community will be celebrating Chinese New Year of the Pig on Sunday 18th February. The Chinese are a significant community in Liverpool and a number of celebrations will be taking place in Kensington, and across Liverpool , to mark this major event in their cultural calendar.

Photographic Workshop

"Memory of golden wedding, our first dance, our first kiss..." A guest artist is invited to host this workshop. We are looking for elderly visitors to Chinese Arts Centre to get involved with this workshop and create work inspired by susan pui san lok's exhibition.

These events will have a British Sign Language interpreter present.

Access For All

Chinese Arts Centre is committed to making all of our services accessible to everyone. We were very proud to be finalists for the RIBA accessible building of the year in 2004 and want to build upon that. Whilst the building is physically accessible, we are now taking steps to make sure all aspects of our work engages with everyone. We would really appreciate feedback and suggestions on how we might improve.
