We will meet on Wednesday, September 15, 2004. UOD is full cammies in inspection order. The NCOs were a little lenient in the scoring last week. There is a lot of work to be done. Refer to the YM Guide Book if you have any questions. We will have a guest speaker from Teen Challenge.
There was a parent's meeting last week and some of you were missing. If you did not attend, please plan to meet up with Ms. Edwards at the beginning of Drill to get the information you missed. It is MANDATORY that a representative from every family attend meetings.
On Saturday, we will be attending the Spirit of America presentation at the MCI Center. We will meet at Branch Avenue subway station at 1750 hours. Every young marine needs at least $4.00 to pay for train fare. Spending money is optional. UOD is full cammie uniform in inspection order.
We only have a limited number of tickets. If you did not sign up last week, be sure to put your name on the list this Wednesday. We will leave the train station promptly at 1810 hours. We will not wait. We will meet in the parking area of the station. Parents - do not drop and go. Make sure you hand over your YM to a registered staff member. We will return to the train station at approximately 2200 hours. Please be on time. Permission forms are attached. Please print, sign and turn in on Wednesday. We need one for EVERY young marine regardless of whether the parent is attending.
Parents: Please be sure to share the newsletter with your YMs. There is information in there specifically for them as well as assignments.
