Its an employers market out there, meaning, these jobs out here can pick and choose whoever they want to hire without so much as caring whether or not you have the skills necessary to do the job.
I myself once got fired after one week because, I guess I was too smart!!! They said, "I did not ask enough questions." It was a job in which I had 5 years of previous experience and the job didn't take master degrees in Rocket Science to know. That's when I knew if the job market is messed up for me, It got to be messed up for those who don't even have my extensive work-history or a resume.
I met this girl the other day and she was about 19 years old and she was desperately seeking better employment than her job at a fast-food restaurant. This young lady only had two jobs in her lifetime and they were both in the fast-food industry. She had a child she was trying to get back from the state but I guess she needed to show them that she could support herself and her child. She had no resume and she never attempted to create one. I offered to create her a resume if she would hook me up with burger and fries (we all gotta eat!). So, after having her take an inventory of her skills and taking about 30 minutes of her time to gather up more information about what she done at her past and present jobs, I took her a completed resume within 3 days and about a 1-1/2 weeks later she got a job at a prominent bank here in Atlanta. Praise God that she's making $2.50 more per hour and she has great insurance and other benefits of working in a bank. She called me back to tell me she that getting her kid about 3 months later. I was so happy for her! She thanked me, although ultimately, it was her that got her that job! She even referred her boyfriend and a few of her girlfriends to me and they are doing better off than before my resume.
We all have that skill and ability to get that job we desire, but sometimes not the courage.
We all wish to do better than the year before. Most know that they need a resume, but they don't have access to a computer. (The people who need the service I'm offering the most don't have a computer at home or don't have time to go to the library) SO, if you're on this website your in luck and I know that you'll pass the word out.
It's like this, if you got a friend who knows how to do resumes go to them! I not saying that to be nonchalant about it, but I don't believe in paying for something if I don't have to! But, If you don't have that good friend with that skill and everybody else is trying to put their foot in your neck with their prices...Contact me! My name is Maaco Feggins and I'm offering low cost resume service to whoever can't afford it or to whoever got a life so busy that they don't have the time to write one, or to whoever do not not have access to the equipment necessary to create a resume!
Here is the deal. I'm charging only $15.00, yeah, $15.00 (fifteen dollars) to do your resume, (unless it's more than 2 pages, then I'm charging a $1.00 per extra page. I do error corrections for free if I make an error but, If you find more than two errors on your resume that I've done, I give you back $10.00 of it!
PLUS, you'll get your resume back error free.
As I mentioned earlier, the people who need this the most don't have access to see this website but word-of-mouth will make this website work. Hey look, one more thing, I do work out deals that I may charge even less... I determine who's eligible, but feel free to ask and find out if you are!
