Hello and welcome to my site.

NaNo has begun. I'm just sitting here giving myself a pep talk before starting my NaNo writing for the day. I think I did darn goon yesterday, 5007 word in one day, that about 18 pages, doubble spaced. Need another 45,000 words before I head out on the 26th. I'll be posting more on my mayspace blog soon, including snips of my NaNoNovel

Just putting this out there. National Novel Writing Month is in November. 50,000 words in 30 days. I'll be posting my progress in my Blog so stop in and see how I'm doing.

Back from Houston. I met with 2 agents and they both asked for submissions. Just wondering how long I should wait before sending them out. You know they're going to be swamped from all the requests from the conference. I'll have to give that some more thought.

Heading out to Houston for the writers' conference. Meet and greet with the agents tonight and face to face pitch tomorrow. I feel ill. I wish I could just get and agent so I don't have to go through all this again. My hands are already sweating.

I know it's been a while, but I've been busy. Editing and re-writes and new ideas are running around in my head.
I still haven't heard from 5 of the 7 agents I've submitted to but from what I'm learning, that's not unusual.

It's been well over a month and so far I've been rejected by 2 agents, placed 17th in one writing contest and made the finals in another. I'm trying not to go back and "TWEEK" my book until I've heard from all the agents but then I'm going to go back and make it bleed. For now, I'm putting all my energy into my new novel, "Just When I Needed You Most"

Okay, so I made it through my pitch and the agent said it sounded interesting and asked to see the first 3 chapters. That's the good thing and I've already sent it out so now it's just a waiting game.
