It is with great sadness that I announce that the man who was inside the robot costume on LIS, Bob May, died on the morning of January 18 2009. He was 69. Bob was proud of his work on LIS, and he was always friendly with the fans of the show. He will be missed.

For those of you who are new to the world of Lost in Space fandom, the fan following for Lost in Space is huge and enthusiastic. Lost in Space fans (who like to call themselves LISfans) are a creative lot: one project that several fans are working on is building their own full size Lost in Space robot replicas. If you want to try this, I have a book called You Can Build the Lost in Space Robot, which will be reprinted in 2005.
Other LISFAN Press publications include LISFAN magazine (a semi annual magazine devoted to the show), and LISFAN Monthly, a magazine devoted to the latest Lost in Space news. Both are on hiatus until my economic situation improves.
I am also working on a new project: a book about Lost in Space, tentatively called The Lost in Space Encyclopedia. If any of you have any suggestions as to what you'd like to see in this book, please e mail me.
The book will have extensive interviews with the Lost in Space cast and crew, biographies of the cast and crew, an episode guide to the show, lots of photos, and several articles about the show.
Because the above book will be for Lost in Space fans, it is only right that they have some impact on its contents. I'm expecting lots of e mail on this one!
I'd like to thank everyone who has looked at this web page. I'll try to update this when any new information comes in that I feel LOST IN SPACE fans will want to see.
