Christa's boat racing progress!
ok.... for those who dont know( or i havin talked to endlessly wit how the race works) it gos like this.... ok first of all these are not the small remote control boats... these are way bigger compared to those! these boats are about as long as a small car! and there really awsome! but some are longer! those are the ones that go like 120 mph! and u have to lay down on those ones or if u have a camsle then u sit up! but in the one i have (20ss) you sit on your knees! well the race starts when the 3 minite gun is fired in the air! then u circle around the track. witch is made up of 3 bouies at each end to make a turn and two startin bouies. and theres a big flat clock by the startin bouies up on shore. then theres a crash boat and a jet ski out in the middle of the track to pull the boats in if some thing happends. then when theres one minite left they fire the one minite gun ( witch is the same gun there fireing!) the boats line up to get to the start just right so that there not to erly. cause if u are u jump and get no ponits. and the points go by: 1st-400 2nd-300 3rd-225 4th-169 5th-127 6th-95 7th-71 8th-53 9th-40 10th-30 11th-22 12th-17. so as u can see the most boats you can have in the water at the same time is 12. so after the boats start there a 3 laps if there a 3 and up boats in the water. but if theres 2 then theres 2 laps and if theres 1 then theres 1 lap. so thats basiclly it! theres still more to expalne but you'd have to be there to explane it.
My Progress!:
FIRST RACE:Elk Rivier
FIRST HEAT: i got 1st place but it was a very close race with that other guy right behind me.
SECONT HEAT: i got 1st agen! with him still on right behind me!
THIRD HEAT: i got 2nd cause i haved a bad start! so i was behind everyone!
FIRTH HEAT: I um.... sunck my boat! lol! well i guess i was makin to tight of a turn and i got to close to the bouie on the first turn and the sponson of my boat hocked on the handle of the bouie and my boat spun around and started sinking slowly. the water was COLD!!!!!!
Fifth heat: I had to use Amy's boat cause my boat wasint ready to go out cause it was wet. so im not that use to Amy's boat so when i wint around the secont turn.... I ran right in to the bouie! so after that they let us redo that heat and i got 2nd!
So after this race every one started calling me the bouie girl! but they dont say it that much!! and thats good! and i hope i never have anything to do with the bouies like that! So i got 2nd over all in the race.
SCECONT RACE: Elk Rivier
FIRST HEAT: well i got 1st but no one came up and challinged me.
SECONT HEAT: I got 1st agen. and still the other two( alex a 13 year old girl and jimmy a 12 year old boy and im 15) didin challenge me so it wasint as fun.
THIRD HEAT: I go 1st agen but Jimmy and Alex were still behind me.
FORTH HEAT: Alex and me had a very close race!!! it was very fun! but what was the funnyist part was on the third lap right before the last turn she past me and waved as she pasted! but i just waved back cause i knew i could get her back on the turn cause I do tight corners and she dose wide! but it was very close at the finish line any way! so it ended up me getin 1st and Alex geting 2nd and last but not lest Jimmy in 3rd!
FIFTH HEAT: well this was a very awsome race too! cause here was me and alex putting so we didnt jump and out of no were here comes Jimmy and he speeds right past us in bettwen us! so I tryed to catch up wit him in the turns but i didnt get to pasing him! so its like his boat finle woke up! or he just got the hange of it and finle wint full troghtle all the way around the track! but me and alex were fighting for 2nd! so it was another close race with me and alex. so in the end.... Jimmy got 1st I got 2nd and Alex got 3rd.
so that was probule the best race i ever had! it was alot of fun!!! and i hope i have alot more races like that! well I probule will cause it looks like Jimmy mit come back and kick my butt! but it will still be a fun race even if i lose!
so there are 3 other races that are coming up that i will infore you on!
