Your AMERICAN ReUNION is an open forum for communication, knowledge and voice resisting rise of walls & resentments between creeds, races, etc., and to uphold our nation's pledge of allegiance to "ONE NATION UNDER GOD".--- Noted historians and authors, conservative and liberal, have reported that professional leaders of special interest groups, ethnic, racial, religious, and others, are converting our nation from a democracy for individuals to a powerocracy of contending militant minorities. The word tribalism is used, meaning a vicious cycle of mean spirited campaigns and counter-campaigns, ethnic against ethnic, educators against religionists, race against race, etc. In history it has caused genocide and the destruction of nations great and small, and credible writers predict the current trend threatens America with the same.--- Please remember: ~A common loyalty allows ethnic, racial or religious pride without hate. ~After a personal crisis an American may thank his or her God, and after surviving a national crisis we can thank OUR God. ~The ultimate ideal freedom is for and by individuals more than groups. Pressure groups form contending tribalist camps, spoiling our growing achievements toward a more completely free and open society. ~Our veterans served as Americans, not hyphenated or denominational Americans. ~When several world religious scriptures, including the Bible, say the Spirit of God dwells within you, how can proprietary religionists claim they have the only way to love and reverence God, the Infinite Spirit?
