Physics & Astronomy Society
Students in there 3rd year at Heriot-Watt University in Scotland intead to start a 'Physics & Astronomy Society'.The emphasis being placed on the astronomy part.
Two of the students own reflector telescopes, and the plan is to construct a simple observatory on the flat roof of the Physics department. Situated on the outskirts of Edinburgh light pollution is minimal.There is also rumour of a radio telescope.
Here is the catch, WE NEED SUPPORT Just you as a member is good support but we need financial help too. Radio telescopes and observatories don’t grow on trees!

Please note that this site is in its infancy so please come back again to see the changes the main one being the posting of images of the two telescopes I mentioned above and possible sites for the observatory.
