Tracey's Hope
Tracey's Hope is a web site for families and friends of those persons afflicted with bi polar disorder and who are interested in finding purpose and meaning in dealing with the complexities of such a dreadful disorder. This site contains information and history on our journey and the healing process we have been through. It is a journey through years of love and pain, hope and dispair, and the turning of a life and its direction.
Tracey died July 15, 2001 brutally stabbed to death. This site is meant to give meaning and purpose to her life and to help others who's family members may be caught in the web of mental illness. We hope to make this site a place of healing for those affected by the disorder and those they love.
The Journey of this love ,and the tragedy of losing my child has led me here to help others in trauma recovery, and dealing with those afflicted with bi polar disorder. I ask you to think of this story as you live your life and remembering you are Tracey's Hope.
Please read the links that discuss this journey for her and for me. Tracey left us a legacy in her writings and her art work. Much can be said of her feelings on living life, on recovery, and then decent to dispair, and back again.
I am currently writing a book on the experiences we have had, and our journey in loving our daughter through it all. In the end we lost her to domestic violence. Her legacy to us was her love.
