Help fight Breast Cancer

My name is Linda Chiappetta. I need your help. My Grandmother died of metastatic breast cancer. Four years ago, I found a lump in my breast that turned out to be nothing, thank God. I decided I had to do something. This is the third year that I am walking to help find a cure for breast cancer. Last year was a tough walk. After walking the 26 miles on day one my feet were so blistered. I thought there is no way I can walk 13 more miles in the morning. In the middle of the night I came out of my tent to go to the bathroom. On the ground at the door way was a Connection Ribbon...It said' "Every three minutes." It reminded me of why I was there. I walk to help find a cure. So that our mothers, sisters, daughters, nieces, granddaughters and friends may someday live without the fear of breast cancer. On Day 2 I walked every step of the 13.9 miles. I did it! I raised $2400, walked 39.9 miles and I made a differnece!

Please help me help find a cure. Please copy the link below, paste it into the search box and become one of my sponsors. The picture in the link shows me wearing a jacket with 74 pink ribbons. Each ribbon had the name of one of my sponsors for the 2003 walk. On the back of my jacket was a piece of my 2003 Avon Walk tee shirt signed by Breast Cancer Survivors. And my sister..a Lung Cancer Survivor. I walk because I can. I walk in honor of these courageous people. I walk in celebration of my life.

Please copy the link below. Become one of my sponsors. Become one of my ribbons. If you have a loved one that you would like to add to my list, I would be honored to walk in memory or as a tribute to them. Please help me help make a difference!
