Hi People!
It's my first WebPage so, please, be patient with me.
I am a Ukrainian who moved into the United States 5 years ago. I live in Syracuse, NY. It is a great community to raise a family. We have a stable job market, low prices, wonderful parks and beautiful lakes. In addition to all of the above, the biggest shopping mall in the United States called "Destiny USA" is about to be built in Syracuse by the Pyramid company.
I am studying Accounting at the State University of New York at Oswego. My university is a great place to receive an education. Professors are knowledgeable, come from diverse background, and are willing to go an extra mile with students. Administration does a good job managing daily activities. Career Services are the best in helping students to find job or the internship. Besides tuition in my school is not expensive and students receive a superb education in return to every penny that they spend on their degree.
I am proud to be American. This society gave me freedom to live and grow personally and professionally. I am going to take a U.S. citizenship exam this year. It's a great honor for me to have this opportunity to become part of the society that thrives on such values as freedom and human life.
And to you, critics of Central New York, there is no ideal place in the world, but there are people who have ideals. There are people who live their lives in the way that makes their community great.
