Alegria de uns, tristeza de outros: Blink 182 não acabou

Na última semana, alguns dos principais sites brasileiros especializados em música divulgaram notícias sobre um possível fim do Blink 182. Pura especulação. Em entrevista à rádio americana KROQ, o baterista Travis tranquilizou os fãs do grupo ao dizer que o trio continuará na ativa por um bom tempo e que está apenas "tirando umas férias".
Uma nota publicada no site oficial do grupo foi o bastante para que começassem as especulações sobre o fim do Blink. No comunicado, tirado do ar após toda a confusão, Mark, Tom e Travis anunciavam que a banda vai dar um tempo, sem previsão de quando volta.
"Eu acho saudável dar um tempo. Nós fizemos a mesma coisa há quatro anos. O Blink deu um tempo e surgiu o Boxcar Racer, por exemplo. É a mesma coisa", disse o batera. "Estamos dando um tempo para que todos possam ser criativos, tenham um pouco de diversão e voltaremos apenas quando for a hora certa."
Com mais de dez anos de estrada, cinco discos de estúdio, um disco ao vivo e uma agenda de shows sempre lotada, os caras certamente merecem umas férias.
