Terry Venables the new leeds manager says he is keeping Rio Ferdinand. Rio has the world at his feet at the moment and intrest for the player is large. Terry said "We need Rio if we are to challenge for silverware this year, he is England best if not the worlds best defender."
Meanwhile it looks as though Lee Bowyer is on his way out of Elland Road after the club accepted an offer in the region of £9,000,000 from Liverpool for the unwanted midfielder. He is expected to sign within the next week.
