I’ve realized that it’s been a while since I’ve updated my website. I truly apologize and I thank you for your understanding.
To all those wonderful people who have taken the time to browse through my website, I thank you. For the many sweet and kind messages that were left in my “guest book”, words cannot express how grateful I am. I’m really touched and you’ve made me feel very special. Thank you kindly.
2005 the Club Des Chefs had the honor and the pleasure of visiting a very old, yet beautiful city of Czech Republic, Prague, which is the capital and largest city of Czech Republic. Prague is a traditional cultural centre, home to many theaters (including National Theatre), opera houses, concert halls, galleries and music clubs. It is also the site of important offices and institutions of the Czech Republic, including the President, the Government and both houses of the Parliament.
The chefs were invited for a dinner reception at the Mayors residence and a cocktail finger lunch at the President’s residence. We had the opportunity of tasting some of the best beer in Prague; we were served cuisine truly fit for Kings at all the events and functions we attended. The love and kindness that we received from the people of Prague will forever be treasured. We have left that city richer by the amount of friends we’ve made.
Departing Prague was a very sad and heartfelt moment as we bid farewell to Walter, chef to the President of the USA, who has left the White House. Our trip to Prague was the last time he would have attended our meetings. We wish Walter all the very best for his future and much success in his new venture, he will surely be missed.
Until the next time… remember recipes are only footprints; it’s only when you cook the dish that’s when you travel the journey.
