What software will I need access to in order to study this course?
An Internet enabled PC (click here to take a look at the hardware and software requirements and see what this should include)
Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Outlook Express (alternatively, a web-based email account such as Hotmail can be used)
Microsoft Word
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) program such as WS-FTP or FTP Explorer (many commercial web packages will have a File Transfer Protocol program built in)
Notepad text editing software - you will use this to write the HTML code for the web pages you create
If you have access to a web editor such as Dreamweaver, you can use it to help you create your site - however, it is not essential that you do this
