Mother of Pearl charity
Mother of Pearl Charity is a foundation created to contribute to elderly persons that face debilitating diseases. We assist those people that are having a difficult time because of insurance problems, or lack of insurance. We are a small organization that has decided to adopt 1 family at a time, to help with many things from a small payment to a hospital, to assisting in the purchase of necessary medical equipment.
Read about the individual who is receiving our help below. If you decide to make a donation to this person, you can contact the foundation at any time. An invoice will be provided to any individual who makes a donation, along with an explanation of how your donation was used.

Mother of Pearl has adopted, and is assisting to establish funds for the ongoing treatment and medical care of a very special woman. Her name is Charlene, and she has been stricken with a disease known as a Gliosis in the left frontal lobe of her brain. This disease makes it difficult for Charlene to function and think rationally. Her ability to do many things in the past are now gone, and will not return. Simple tasks like walking, and balancing are problems she faces every day, and yet she fights to do the very best she can on a daily basis.
Unfortunately, this Gliosis is not the only thing that Charlene has to worry about. Six years ago, she was also stricken with Epilepsy originating from the Temporal lobe of her brain. This is something that has debilitated her to the point of having numerous partial seizures a day. Charlene faces many obstacles a day, having to be on a large regime of medications to try and control her seizures. These medications are expensive, and have many side effects that leave her in a state of having to have private care, and many doctors appointments. Repeat MRI scans are necessary to ensure that these conditions are at some point being controlled, and to ensure that there is no threat of a brain tumor, which is somewhat likely with the Gliosis. Charlene is very limited with her health insurance, not qualifying for any programs make it very difficult to pay for these necessary tasks.
Mother of Pearl Charity is currently helping Charlene, but we would also like to invite you to help as well. Donations are being accepted for this lovely woman through our Organization.
