THE CARTRIDGE
The Media of the Cartridge represents hard hydrocarbon neutral polymer with ion-exchange properties, obtained in a special synthesys (Know-How) of high-molecular compaunds, which spatial frame forms microporous structure with hi-developed inner surface (approx. 50000 sq.m), which works not only like ion-exchange system, but as highly efficient sorbent too.
The Cartridge consists of countless numbers of microspheres. You can see them on the 1000-times zoomed photo (circle), made by Siemense Labs, Germany. Size of the pores are 0.5 - 1.5 microns within one cartridge. Size of the cartridge is : 126 x 20 mm.
ION-EXCHANGE ACTION:
Active groups of negative ions are introduced in the media and works in accordance with ion-exchange principle.
Ion-exchange system retains dissolved chemical admixtures - chorine, chlorine-and phosphorus-containing pesticides, phenols, organic compounds, dissolved ferrum, salts of heavy and radioactive metals, mineral salts, etc.
MECHANICAL PURIFICATION (ABSORPTION)
Sand, clay, mud, rust, microflora, etc., are retained mechanically by microporous structure, mainly on the surface of the cartridge and based on the principle of "a sieve".
BACTERIOSTATIC ACTION
The active silver ions, introduced into the media, affords an opportunity for manifestation of bacteriostatic effect in the cartridge and prevents the propagation and destroy microbs and intestinal bacteria, and in this way the water is purified from biologic pollutants as well.
Active silver ions, being binded in the media by ion-exchange properties, does not poluute in the water at all. And what is more - the quantity of silver ions conforms to latest world standards.
SOFTENING
Thanks to unique properties of the media, even after saturation of the cartridge surface with salts of hardness, next salts of the same kind (Calcium, Magnezium Ions..) change their structure to such a final form that kettles, irons, etc., precipitation, sediment, incrustions and scale are not generated (antiscaling effect), and as a result the water is contnuously is softened - so called "effect of pseudo-softening" is realized.
The cartridge transforme Calcium into ARAGONIT which is HEALTH-GIVING.
Selfi-Indication of necessity of the cartridge replacement/regeneration and available possibility to clean HOT water are among numerous advantages of "GEYZER EURO".
