DESCRIPTION: Situated on the shores of Templeport Lake, this beautiful family run B&B offers first class "Bord Failte" approved accommodation. Guest bedrooms are all en-suite with T.V and coffee & tea making facilities. In the evenings relax beside an open fire in our large comfortable T.V lounge. Evening meals can be provided on request.
LOCATION: This scenic rural setting in the heart of the Lakeland is the the ideal base for your touring or angling holiday. Catherine and Joe who recently returned from abroad to live in Ireland designed and built this house for the comfort of anglers and tourists alike. We aim to make your stay an enjoyable, comfortable and memorable experience.
ATTRACTIONS: For you anglers interested in catching large bream or pike then you are 100 yards from your dream fishing grounds. Renowned for its stock of pike, bream roach, tench and eel, Templeport lake is but 1 of approximately 40 lakes within a 10 km radius. There is a tackle room, bait shed and drying room. Bait can be ordered locally. Boats are available nearby for hire.
For historians why not stroll up this quiet avenue to St. Peter's church and wander around its ancient grounds or gaze out on the beautiful Templeport lake with its historical St. Mogue's Island dating back to 550 A.D.
Visit the nearby Shannon Pot or explore the Marble Arch caves. There is a wealth of other activities such as golfing, windsurfing, horse-riding, cycling or why not take a cruise along the nearby Shannon-Erne waterway.
