Daggerfall
Tips - Practise all your skills to improve them, as every time you rest the skills you have practised recently will increase. Your character has to be of a high level (6/7) before the main quest is started properly, as at this point a letter will be given to you telling you to go and see someone. Practise your primary and major skills to increase your character level.
Some creatures can not be harmed with the basic steel or iron weapons, so you must try and get hold of weapons made from better material (Elven or Dwarven metal (Dwarven to kill harpies)). Better weapons are made available in the shops as your character improves, they can also be found in the bigger dungeons (found in quests).
