KUM SUNG Martial Arts - a strong Worldwide well known Martial Arts Organization with its Headquarter in Toms River - New Jersey - USA. Many different Martial Arts styles are taught at the KUM SUNG Martial Arts Dojangs i.e.:
Taekwondo, SungWooDoKwan, Kum Do, Tai Chi, Hapkido etc etc.
The main style taught in the European / German Dojangs is SungWooDoKwan (SWDK). SWDK was created by Grandmaster Dr. Kahm Sung Woo in 1969. Dr. Kahm started Martial Arts in the age of 3. Within his military duty time he was also an Green Beret Instructor. His Martial Arts career semmed to be over after he got injured seriously while on Combat training. But the deep honest trust into the Martial Arts made him able to continue and to become a Grandmaster holding the (th Degree Black Belt plus many other rankings in several Martial Arts Styles. The SWDK is the result of gaining all the knowledge from different Martial Arts Styles. Dr. Kahm consolidated his Martial Arts knowledge, modified it into the Korean mentality and created SungWooDoKwan, Korean and Chinese weaponry included.
Main Dojangs in Europe / Germany are located in Würzburg, Rottendorf and Nürnberg plus several smaller groups.
