IMPORTANT message from The Armadillo Race Queen:
Well, it's over! And what a tense finale! I hope you all enjoyed our Fantasy Race season, and are looking forward to the next round (if there is one). If you want to play next season, you don't have to do anything. You are already signed up. However, if you DON'T want to play again, please email me so I can take you off the list.
The weekly high scorer was Andee, with 215 points. Since this included her 100-point Reichen and Chip bonus, however, our all-time high scorer is still Chris, with 175 points in week 10.
Spread the word to all your friends and family that watch AR...they can email me now to get on the mailing list for next season! The American Idol fantasy game, which we were previously told would start in September, has apparently been postponed to January. Survivor will be starting in the fall. Be sure to email me if you want to sign up for either of these (unless you know you're already on the list).
Help Wanted:
I am currently looking for a Gaming Commissioner(s) to coordinate any gambling opportunities for fantasy games. Betting on the games will ALWAYS be optional, so anyone who doesn't want to risk money will still be able to play. The new Commissioner will be able to work entirely through email. Also, the Commish can decide what types of gambling to support (bet on the winning actual players/teams, bet on the high score among our own players, weekly bets, etc.) If you're interested in filling this slot for all, some, or any one of the Fantasy games, please let me know! If no one want to do this, there will be no gambling options in the future.
