THIS WEB SITE IS DEDICATED TO THE LIFE AND DEATH OF A BEAUTIFUL BUFF FEMALE. HER NAME WAS PENNY.
I HAD HIGH HOPES THAT SHE WOULD BECOME A BREED CHAMPION. WELL IT WAS NOT MEANT TO BE.What I DIDN'T REALIZE THEN THAT I DO NOW IS THAT AS A BABY SHE WAS OVER-VACCINATED. SHE RECEIVED PUPPY SHOTS FROM HER BREEDER AND THEN MY VET AT THE TIME DID THEM ALL OVER AGAIN. HER IMMUNE SYSTEM WAS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO FIGHT OFF ALL OF THOSE POISONS. THAT IS WHEN I STARTED TO FEED RAW TO GIVE HER A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE> IT DID HELP UNTIL SHE RECEIVED HER SECOND RABIES SHOT. AFTER THAT SHE DEVELOPED SEIZURES AS A RESULT OF THE RABIES VACCINE. I DECIDED TO TREAT IT WITH ALTERNATIVE MEANS BECAUSE I KNEW OF THE DANGERS OF THE DRUGS THE VETS PUT THE DOGS ON. ONCE AGAIN I WAS TRYING TO MAKE THE QUALITY OF HER LIFE THE BEST POSSIBLE.IT DID HELP FOR A WHILE.EVENTUALLY THE SEIZURES GOT THE BEST OF HER. IN JULY OF 2001 SHE WENT INTO A CLUSTER SEIZURE AND I COULDN'T BRING HER BACK SO I HAD TO SAY GOOD -BYE TO MY BEAUTIFUL BABY.IT WAS THE HARDEST THING I EVER HAD TO DO. SHE WASN'T EVEN FOUR YEARS OLD YET. IT WAS THEN THAT I PROMISED PENNY THAT SHE WOULDN'T HAVE DIED FOR NOTHING.I BECAME RESEARCHING AND STUDYING TO HAVE A HEALTHY FAMILY OF COCKER SPANIELS. THAT IS THE REASON THAT TODAY MY DOGS ARE VERY HEALTHY. MY GOAL IS TO BRING THE INFORMATION THAT I HAVE LEARNED TO THE PEOPLE THAT WANT A COMPANION ANIMAL. YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND NOT BLINDLY BELIEVE WHAT THE VETS AND DOG FOOD COMPANIES TELL YOU. SOMEONE ONCE SAID RECENTLY THAT YOU CAN FEED KIBBLE AND VACCINATE,THEN LOOSE YOUR DOG AT A VERY YOUNG AGE AFTER SPENDING POSSIBLY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. OR YOU CAN FEED RAW HAVE THEM LIVE ANOTHER 6-8 YEARS, CUT OUT THE MAJOR VET BILLS AND SPEND THE MONEY FOR TOYS FOR THE DOG INSTEAD.
IT IS YOUR CHOICE,JUST MAKE AN EDUCATED ONE.
THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.
It is called the "Rainbow Bridge" because of its many colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there ia a land of meadows,hills and valleys with lush green grass where all good,sweet cockers meet and play.When a beloved cocker dies he/she goes to this place.There is always food and water and warm spring weather. Th old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again.They play all day with each other. There is only one thing missing. They are not with "their special person" who loved them on Earth.So each daythey run and play until that special awaited day comes.One suddenly stops playing and looks up!The nose twiches! The ears are raised!The eyes are staring!This special cocker,and all it's family,suddenly run from the groupof friends!You have been seen,and were the only one missing in their lives.So,when you and your special Friend meet,youtake them in your arms,and cuddle,hold ever so tight and kiss gently.In turn,your face is kissed again and again and again and you look once more into the soft eyes of your trusting,loving cocker,you missed so much.Then you cross the"Rainbow Bridge" together,never again to be separated.

Penny we all miss you everyday. You were only a baby when you left us. You taught me so much in your short life. You showed me there was a different path to follow.That path isn't traveled by everyone. I have pledged future Kriss Kross Cockers will be Naturally Reared. They will eat a Raw Diet, No-vacs and no other poisons that will compromise their immune system. Thank-you Baby,Till we meet again!!
