Women In Ministry--Is it possible???
Welcome to a place of acceptance and unconditional love. We as christian women need to unite.
Believing that God has chosen us, we should boldly step out in absolute faith and press forward to the places He has set before us.
The Word of God serves as our complete and untarnished point of instruction. Upon nothing else do we obtain direction.
It is written that we are more than conquerors. Because of Jesus' death on the cross thereby giving us life....we can accomplish, partake and thrive as women ministers.
He has readily equipped us with the right tools. We must 'die' to self and fleshly desires and take up our cross and bear it.
We need to exercise the freedom God has given us.
For much too long, we have been pushed back and ridiculed for making a statement.
For as long as we are living 'spiritual minded' and not 'fleshly minded', we have the right to teach, preach, and minister the gospel of Jesus. We can righteously uphold the infaliable word of God to anyone and any congregation.
God has already made a way for us. We simply need to take His promises (which He always fulfills, His word will not come back to Him void once we have proclaimed it aloud)We didn't, of course, earn His promises. Those boundless promises are given completely free for us who believe.
He has already paved the way by revealing in His Word that 'in the last days, men and WOMEN shall prophesy.'
What more do we need?
Certainly not the world's approval.
Who are we really called by?
If we become subject to the world's belief system and traditions/doctrines of man..then who are we really serving? To whom or what are we held captive by?
God specifically has given us freedom from ALL manner of condemnation, bondage, and capivity. The Word teaches us that 'now there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus'. That alone makes our mission worthy. Praise God with who you are!
He has made you, and He knows how to 'make' you. We must continually trust Him to 'make' us everyday. He alone can bring us up in life. And for that matter, He has alreay said that 'as it is in heaven, there it shall be on earth also'. He has the power either way, we just need to be in the receiving mode. We quench the holy spirit from bringing forth the promises of God when we don't really believe in what God is doing and can do through us.
It's time, ladies, that we press forward in answer to the high calling. Cherish your blessed gift of salvation and then activate your faith by receiving the holy spirit. The Word teaches us that we are not to worry about what we shall say, but that the spirit will intervene at the exact moment of need. That alone is how Jesus works with your hands, heart, and mouth.
In fact, just to give you a little biblical truth, the bible states that the holy spirit filled all people at pentecost. There were men there. AND women. Men and women were both filled!
Reach out and claim your blessing. Be filled and ready to accomplish. Take this with you...the bible teaches us to 'call things that are not as though they are'. That means you must speak out your faith. That's what 'vision in the spirit is all about.
There is no need to ever make apologies for serving the risen Christ! He chose you. He loves you. He wants you!
Take the crown He has given you upon your head, humble yourself, and believe sister! You are worthy to accomplish what He has set out for you to do.
For He said in His word that He is MORE than able to accomplish things we have never seen, thought, or even dreamed! Hallelujah!

Corinthian women prophesied and prayed in church 1st Cor. 11:4-5. The scripture in 1st Cor 14:34-35. that is used to condemn women ministers does not refer to preaching, but to disturbance in church services, asking or talking out to their husbands in church, as stated in 1st Cor. 14:35. and 1st Timothy 2:11-15
Did you know that women ministered to Jesus. "Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, MINISTERING UNTO HIM". Matt. 27:54-55 (KJV)
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For YE ARE ALL THE CHILDREN OF GOD. Gal. 3:24 - 26
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, THERE IS NEITHER MALE NOR FEMALE: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Gal. 3:27-28
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Gal. 3:29
This is the book of the generations of Adam. "In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him. Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called THEIR NAME ADAM in the day when they were created." Gen. 5:1- 2
In the gospels we read of several WOMEN MINISTERS who proclaimed "GOOD NEWS" (Mat. 28:1-10; Luke. 24:9-11)
In Acts 2:14-21; Joel 2:28-31 God predicted and promised that He Himself would POUR OUT HIS SPIRIT UPO ALL FLESH (man and woman) AND THEY WOULD PROPHESY. "He that prophesieth edifieth the church" (1st Corinthians 14:4) Prophesying is for the church and general public. 1st Cor. 12:1-31; 14:1-6; 12:24-26, 29-33)
In Acts 21:8-9 it is clear that PHILLIP'S FOUR DAUGHTERS WERE PROPHETESSES (Woman Ministers), that is, they were evangelists like their father. This is in perfect accord with Joel 2:28-29 which was fulfilled in the early church. Acts 2:16 and Acts 2:17-18 which will be fulfilled in the last days
In Romans 16 we have record of a number of women ministers of the Lord in various churches. Phoebe (Verses 1-2), Priscilla (V 3-5), Mary, Tryphena, Tryphosa, Persis, And Julia (Verses 6-15) These WOMAN MINISTERS ARE MENTIONED AS LABORERS IN THE LORD
In Philippians 4:2 Euodias And Syntyche Are Mentioned As Being LEADERS OF THE CHURCH AT PHILLIPPI.
In 1st Corinthians 12 Paul compares the church to a human body and mentions 9 gifts of the Spirit, including the gift of prophecy, for all the members of the body of Christ, man and women.
Women were used of God in Old Testament days as prophetesses (Exodus 15:20; Judges. 4:4; 2nd Kings 22: 14; 2nd Chronicles 34:22; Nehemiah 6:14; Isaiah 8:3; Luke 1:39-56; 2:36). The law made provision for women to make sacrifices, attend feasts, and make vows (Deuteronomy 12:11-18; Leviticus 27)
God has used a rod (Exodus. 4:2, 17); an ass (Numbers. 22:28); a ram's horn (Joshua. 6:5); an ox, goad, nail, barley cake, pitchers, jawbone, millstone (Judges. 3:31; 4:21; 7:13, 20; 9:53; 15:15-19); mantle (2nd kings. 2:8); ditches (2nd kings 3:16); empty vessels (2nd kings 4:3); cruise of oil, ravens (1st kings. 17:4, 16); worm, wind, fish, gourd (Jonah 1:4, 17; 4:6-7); and many other weak things to confound the mighty (1st Corinthians 1:18-21).
IS IT NOT POSSIBLE THEN THAT HE CAN USE A WOMAN? YES!
