LAW ENFORCEMENT AND PROSECUTION IN RURAL AREAS
GAOL: TO DEVELOP STRATEGIES FOR RURAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES
TO:
1) Develop effective community relations strategies
2) To effectively work with the prosecutor's agency
3) To counter "The CSI Effect"
4) To counter the racial profiling or the perception
thereof
5) To develop perception of "partner" instead of
"adversary"
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT:
There is and ever-growing perception that law enforcement is the adversary as opposed to partner; Redmond Consulting seeks to assist agencies in tearing down these barriers and promote the partnership approach.
HOW DOES REDMOND CONSULTING ACHIEVE THIS OBJECTIVE?
Each client's needs are individually assessed and proposed plan is developed. Once approved, the plan is put into action with Redmond Consulting monitoring the implementation of the plan. There will also be a mechanism to evaluate progress during certain intervals.
SERVICES OFFERED
1) To develop strategies for rural areas to effectively utilize law enforcement strategies with limited resources;
2) To advise and consult with agencies on proposals and programs, and to assist with the acquisition of funding, including grants and preparing proposals to legislative bodies;
