Konner Jordan Fabrick
NEWS!!! Konner received his invitation to the 2007 USKids Regional Championship at Jekyll Island in Georgia!!!
Konner had a fantastic summer of golf again.
He competed in the USKids World Championship in Pinehurst, NC. After a rough first round of 42, he rebounded the next day to shoot 38 and followed that with a 39 on the third and final day. He finished 21st in the World Championship and had a fantastic time. It was a wonderful first World Championship experience. We look forward to many more in the future. Thanks to Aunt Janice and Grandma Shirley for coming to see him compete. It wouldnt have been the same without the two of you there.
Konner had two fantastic outings in both the Indiana and Kentucky State Championships.
In Kentucky, he shot a 1 over par 37 which tied him for first place at the end of the round. He finished second after losing on the first playoff hole.
In the Indiana Championship at Smock Golf Club, he shot 3 over par and finished alone in second place.
In February 2006, we went to Jekyll Island, GA where Konner competed in his first U.S. Kids Regional Championship (link below). The competition was absolutely incredible. The best young golfers from all over North America showed up to have fun and compete. Konner shot 7 over par his first round under cold windy conditions but rebounded the second day to shoot a very exciting 1 over par 37 which included 2 chip-in Eagles and a 30' putt that dropped for birdie. His two-day total of 8 over par was good enough for a 10th place finish. Congrats to the winners and all who competed. A special thank you to Aunt Janice for driving all the way up from Florida to cheer Konner on and help with scoring. (And oh yeah... thanks for the great dinner) We love you!!!

Konner turned 5 on June 5th 2005. He started hitting balls at the age of 2 with a plastic set but soon graduated to the real thing when his parents noticed the natural talent he posessed. He has become rather popular in his small town in Indiana. If he isnt out on the course, he can be seen hitting balls in his yard as soon as the sun comes up and can be heard arguing with his mom against coming in when it goes down.
His favorite golfers are Big John Daly and Tiger.
