Bio
Shirl' grew up on country music inspired by her father growing up who always encouraged her to pursue her dreams as a singer, singer and musician, singing in schools and to anyone who would listen. Shirl' is a singer/songwriter and composer who has played guitar and bass since 1988. Shirl' lived in Nashville until recently moved into Alabama where She and her children are currently located. Shirl is engaged to be married to James Perkins this summer. From boot stompin fast to belt buckle slow Shirl just loves to sing, write, and compose. Shirl' loves people, children, horses,horseback riding, rodeos and animals.
In 1988 Shirl has played with organizations such as March of Dimes, The Hunger Task Force, benifits and has played In Wva, Tn, AL, OH and has played with such bands as Southern Stars, Indian River, Rag and the Rose,
Roger Martin, Harry James Gang, Jerry Cole, Saddletramp band, Autumn Mist, Sour grapes, radical driveway, The Horizan Band, High Ridin Heros, Poney Express, Carwin Country, Coon Hollow Band, Midnight Rodeo, Outriders, Timberlane, Wild Card Band, Souther Rose Band,Ghost riders, and many more. Shirl' has been on Local television programs, and has completed small road tours, worked in studios and just had fun.
