Are You Afraid Of The Dark?
---The "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" squad looks to be a major factor in this year's PLHS intramural season.
---The veteran leadership comes from senior forward Pat Cooley, who helped lead "The 1972 Dolphins" to a tie for first place in the 2003 intramural season.
---The scoring should come from Ryan Kerns, who last season played for the high school varsity squad. Ryan saw playing time in a few Monarch games and looks to be an All-Star selection for the "Afraid of the Dark" squad, if Jackie allows him to complete the season.
---Ryan May, "The Round Mound of Rebound", will give the team considerable size and toughness down low. The center for the Monarch football team, Ryan should provide some muscle on the glass.
---John Robinson is in his first year of intramural basketball and should have a tough time transitioning from J.V. ball to intramural ball. John is mostly a reserve on the squad, but his quickness should provide good minutes.
---Leigh Jochimsen is a streaky shooter, who can hit the trey at times. Leigh will fire it up at any moment and should be a positive asset for the "Dark" squad. Leigh is also the QB for the Monarch football team.
---Chris Phalen gives the "Dark" some heighth and rebounds. Although his shot may make you ill, he should be able to contribute for the team.
---David Ferris is a junior who is a football player by trait and struggles from beyond the arc. David makes a lot of steals, using his quickness and provides solid defense. David's hair must be perfect 24-7.
---Zach Horner brings a lot to the table for "Are You Afraid of the Dark?". He is very quick and can knock down a shoot on command. He is very hairy and should provide a lot of scoring from the point guard position. Zach also played basketball last season for the Monarchs.
