SHARK ATTACK RACING started in fall of 2005. I picked up a 87 KUSTOM KRAFT TX 19 from Garry Snow at performance marine less motor . The pump in it had a trust bearing go out and it ate up the impeller and the gel was bad on it so we had our work cut out for us in order to get this thing race ready for the 2006 season ! I have alot of people to thank for helping out on this project ... Jim Johnson built the engine , Snowman for the great deal on the boat, Willy Clark for his fab work and loan of saftey equipment, Ben Maness for his paint skills and laying the lettering down, Duane's Automotive & Marine Performance for his part's and time, Danny Ridgway for overhauling the pump and a special thank's to Reagan Everett (who pretty much built this boat with alot of his part's and time in a single weekend) RPM Marine for all of thier work getting the boat freshen up for the 2007 season and my crew Travis Casper for running the tow truck ,Jake Ferina for all of his pit work and the lovely Erica Maness being the Secretary and part time tow truck driver! With all of there help we put together a boat that was good enough the take the 2006 High Points Champion in the River Racer Class with the Southern Drag Boat Association (S.D.B.A.) in the first season we ran it !
Look at Mike Loesch's dragboat photo's, he takes a lot of the pictures I use on this site.
