Kenny Loren 'When It Rains It Pours'
KENNY LOREN'S NEW CD IS PRODUCED BY LOS ANGELES SINGER SONGWRITER EDDIE CUNNINGHAM. THE CD IS ABOUT THE UP'S AND DOWN'S OF LIFE, DEATH, LOVE AND HATE.
Kenny Loren has been playing guitar for over 30 years. Singing & writing has been Kenny’s love for a long time. He’s so enjoyable to sit and listen to, and some of his songs sound better than the record. His specialty is Neil Young, but Kenny is a walking juke box. He does all kinds of songs and all styles.
Hits from the 50’s to modern times and his own songs, which are often requested, are timeless and full of emotional honesty, They are stories of life’s up’s and downs. Some are spiritual, some are humorous, and some just rock. Then he’ll kill you with a beautiful love ballad.
He has performed all over Southern California in clubs, concert houses, restaurants and back yard private parties. He has played many showcases around town, and was a mainstay at the Ice House in Pasadena. You may have seen him on the nationally Televised Talent contest “THE GONG SHOW”, Hosted by Chuck Barris.
Currently Kenny is in the recording studio with producer Eddie Cunningham (Gram Parsons Notebook) and engineer Paul Marshall (Strawberry Alarm Clock), working on a new CD of his own penned tunes and a few classic favorites.
Kenny is a very talented and unique entertainer, He plays a right handed guitar flipped over to lefty, and this adds subtle nuances to his chords making the sound fuller. This along with his rich, smooth vocal style makes for a great sound all by itself. Once you sit down to hear Kenny, be ready to hear a lot of music because Kenny doesn’t take breaks. Kenny Loren is a true crowd pleaser.
