PAGE DEDICATED TO THE BELIEF THAT HERITARY MONARCHY IS A VASTLY UNDERRATED SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT. IN FACT, IT IS MY BELIEF THAT ALL POLITICAL SYSTEMS TEND TOWARDS MONARCHY.
A friend of mine raised the issue that royalism looks better to us than it did to people in 1900 because we know that William II and Franz Josef are followed by Hitler and Nicholas II is followed by Lenin. The monarchs look much better by comparision is true. That they were suitable rulers is another issue altogether.
