Woodland Thunder Tournament Baseball
Welcome to the Woodland Thunder’s website.
The Thunder’s 11U baseball team are in their second year of tournament baseball. The team has won several USSSA World Series Qualifier tournaments over the last 2 years and participated in the 2004 10U AAA World Series in Southaven, Mississippi. They are heading to the USSSA 11U AAA World Series in Overland Park, Kansas, in July 2005 again this year.
Each one of our player brings years of playing experience to the field. The team's goal for this season is to grow together as a team through sportsmanship, determination, friendship, and integrity. The Coaches goals are to instill values and teach baseball skills. It is with this mission in mind that we hope to create positive, structured environment of learning that will build character traits in our children that will serve them for a lifetime.
We are currently looking for 2-3 competitive players to add to our roster. We will have tryouts in May 2005. For more information, please contact Manager Marty Bass at (530) 661-1129.
