SCAMS CONTINIUE, WHEN ARE YOU PEOPLE GOING TO GET A JOB?????
FIRST.
This one really gets up our nose!!
These are called PHISING SCAMS what the idiots who send them are after is your personal details, once they have them they proceed to wreck havoc with your finances.
USUALLY THE E-MAIL Will tell you that the sender wants to:-
1) DO A CONFIDENTIAL BUSINESS DEAL.
2) OFFER A HIGH VALUE LOAN AT LOW INTEREST RATES.
3) IS A MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN FORCES IN IRAQ WHO FOUND SADAM'S
MILLIONS.
AND SO ON.......
The important part is when they ask you to send them your CONTACT DETAILS IF YOU DO THIS THEN YOU WILL LOOSE EVERYTHING.

SECOND
This one is quite nasty as it can involve somebody getting hurt.
As far as is known at the moment it originates in AFRICA - various countries - it starts off with a 'young' girl looking for a friend possible marriage partner!!
Eventually the person being SCAMMED gets to travel to the country in question carrying a large sum of cash to 'help the person leave the country'.
I will leave it up to your imagination as to what happens then, usually the person being SCAMMED is too embarrassed to report it but it does get reported by some.
It has even been known for the SCAMMED to disappear, never to be seen again.

ADVICE
As soon as an email turns up with a title that runs something like
- URGENT CONTACT ME NOW or something like that or is from somebody you don’t know -
DELETE IT WITH OUT OPENING IT.
A nasty twist is that as a back up a lot of these email have an VIRUS attached usually a TROJAN HORSE that reports your keyboard activity
Also those who are addressed to "undisclosed recipients" should go the same way!!
MAKE CERTAIN YOUR FIREWALL IS IN PLACE AND THAT YOUR ANTI-VITUS IS UP TO DATE.

HEADS UP FOLKS ITS THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AND EVER CHILD WITH A COMPUTER HAS BECOME EVIL INCARNATE, SO FAR WE'VE BEEN SIGNED UP FOR SEVERAL SITES THAT DONT BEAR DESCRIPTION !!!!!!!
