GORILLA SAFARI 5 DAYS CAMPING

Day 1: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route, you will stop by the Uganda Equator to take pictures. After lunch at the Lake view Hotel in Mbarara, head for the East African Rift valley arriving in Queen Elizabeth National Park for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning cup of tea at 6:30am, depart for a game drive on the northerly parts of the park along the Kasenyi track. This is the best time for opportunities of viewing the cats in action. Later, return for breakfast. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga for solitary Buffalo, Hippo and other animals at the edge of the channel as they cool off. European migrant birds like the terns and gulls congregate here in large flocks. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Bwindi

After a relaxed breakfast, transfer to the gorilla sanctuary through the beautiful mountain scenery referred to as the little Switzerland. Meals and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp.

Day 4: Day of Gorillas

After breakfast and a briefing by park ranger guides, depart with picnic lunch boxes to start a 30 minutes - 8 hours trek to find the Mountain gorillas. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas were the previous day. After a full hour with the gorillas, return to Gorilla Forest Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Kampala

After breakfast, transfer to Mbarara arriving in time for lunch at the Lakeview Hotel. Later drive back to Kampala. End of services.

Price: US$1345 per person sharing

Price include:
- Transportation in a custom safari vehicle
- Services of a trained experienced English speaking driver/guide
- Fullboard accommodation in the lodge/tented camp based on double/twin sharing
- Gorilla permits and park entry fees

Not included:
- Expenses of personal nature such as visa, travel/buggage insurance, laundry, beverages, tips etc.
- Christmas, New Year and Easter supplements

ps. Kindly note to book this particular safari we need at least 4 months notification so as to apply for the Gorilla permits,which only 12 are issued per day.
