All model boaters are welcome but it will cost you £10.00 pp, the bar will be open from 12 noon so come along and swing the lamp. Jeff & I have just been to the Beal Park M.B.Show. In a word it was a bit disappointing notable lack of traders. The good new was we manged to pick up two new members from the show. But I must admit Our Show at Springbok is now far better, and thoes who attended agree. We had a great turn out this year and the weather was quite kind. The lunchon in the Cunard Room at Springbok was a great success with our invited guest the editor Mr Chris Jackson and his good lady of the The Marine Modeler Magazine. He thanked us for their invitation and stated that they were very impressed with the meal and our club facilities. I would like to thank our member Vic Swanwick for arranged the invite and all the 17 members who came along and gave us their support. The Menu of Soup, Fish & Chips. Followed by sponge and custard with coffee to wash it down. The members who attended can't wait for the next one so i think it will have to become an annual event.
