It list Andrew McMahan as being born April 02, 18__. Cathy Ann McMahan born February 09, 1808.

JOHN MOORE PAXTON born ca 1806 in Green County, Kentucky and died after 1870. Married Cathy Ann McMahan daughter of Andrew McMahan and Jane Walker. Cathy Ann was born February 09, 1808 in Green County, Kentucky and died there on December 7, 1842. Among their children were:
1. SARA JANE PAXTON born November 29, 1828
2. ANDREW McMAHAN PAXTON born Jan. 31, 1830, died Sept 11, 1906. He married (1st) Catherine Jane Patram on March 9, 1854 and (2nd) Harriet Birdie Craddock.
3. SAMUEL M. PAXTON born May 27, 1831 and died August 14, 1884. He married (1st) America F. Woodward and (2nd) Mary F. Smith.
4. HUGH M. PAXTON born May 1, 1833
5. MALINDA JANE PAXTON
6. MARGARET ANN PAXTON
7. WILLIAM E. “LITTLE WILL” PAXTON born ca 1838 and married Mary Jane Heizer.
