BLUESKY INTERNET CENTRE
John and Pauline moved to La Marina 3 years ago from Bexleyheath where John owned the Jolly Millers Public house. John is a chef by trade and worked in many restaurants from Germany to London and America, when he first came to Spain he worked in Nicos Bar and Restaurant on Torretta 3.
18 months ago John opened the internet centre opposite the Caprabo Supermarket La Marina which was Pauline’s idea. Besides the internet some of the other services they offer are photocopying, fax service, flyers, business cards, ink cartridges etc.
A year ago he made friends with Jak and Louise who are computer technicians, so then John added computer repairs to his already impressive list of services. The internet centre has now moved to much larger premises at the back of the Bodega Restaurant. Bluesky Internet now has a computer repair workshop which provides data installation, internet setup, call out service, web design, setting up home computers, networking, graphic design, upgrades, virus removal and much more.
The new shop has more terminals, a section for use of personal own laptops and wireless connections, which is left on 24 hours a day so that users can be on line any time.
John tries to help everyone who comes into the shop, and is also very helpful with local information. He helps lots of new people who have just moved to Spain or just on holiday. When I was there he was helping someone get a telephone line to their house by contacting www.telefonicainenglish.com and helping people book flights. He has links on the computers for property rentals, property to buy and a notice board with all types of services on.

Bluesky Internet is open Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 12 to 3pm.
Prices for the internet are 1euro for the first 20 minutes, then 5 cents per min after, and you pay when you finish so that you are not looking for change what an advantage!
Bluesky also runs a membership system which works out at 3euros an hour and is free to join.
They are also looking to install a post room for people with new houses who do not get their post delivered, and a coffee and cold drinks vending machine.
