Plymouth State College Women's Tennis Team
The women's tennis team at Plymouth State College competes in the Little East Confrence as a division III team. The 2002 season opens on August 25th. Currently the team is in the heart of their post season training. The girls are working on getting fit as well as correcting individual errors.
Fifth-year head coach Judy Switzer welcomes back ten veterans as well as a solid group of newcomers. PSC will be out to improve on its fifth place finish at the Little East Confrence Championships, which are tenatively scheduled for UMASS Boston. Plymouth State showed vast improvement in 2001, finishing with an 8-3 regular season record. Switzer is hoping this year’s team will continue to improve and has high expectations for winning the Little East Confrence Championships in October.
