From Jesus to Christ: The Incomparable King
Introduction:
Through out history many men have made valuable contributions to history. Men have been leaders of great empires, they have been brave warriors, and have been great scholars. But, few have remained well known. Then, there was one, and His story changed the world.
Tell me the story of Jesus, Write on my heart every word;
Tell me the story most precious, Sweetest that ever was heard.
Tell how the angels in chorus, Sang as they welcomed His birth.
"Glory to God in the highest, Peace and good tidings to earth."
Tell me the story of Jesus, Write on my heart every word;
Tell me the story most precious, Sweetest that ever was heard.
Fasting alone in desert, Tell of the days that are passed,
How for our sins He was tempted, Yet was triumphant at last.
Tell of the years of His labor, Tell of the sorrow He bore,
He was despised and afflicted, Homeless, rejected, and poor.
Tell me the story of Jesus, Write on my heart every word;
Tell me the story most precious, Sweetest that ever was heard.
Tell of the cross where they nailed Him, Writhing in anguish and pain;
Tell of the grave where they laid Him, Tell how He liveth again.
Love in that story so tender, Clearer than ever I see;
Stay, let me weep while you whisper, Love paid the ransom for me.
Tell me the story of Jesus, Write on my heart every word;
Tell me the story most precious, Sweetest that ever was heard.
Jesus Christ of Nazareth born to the virgin Mary and being the Son of God changed the lives of all who knew Him. He touched the lives of those who witnessed His miracles and heard His teachings two thousand years ago. Today, His story still remains powerful and continues to prick the hearts of men.
Who is Jesus? and what is His story? This outline is a study of the life of Jesus Christ. It is a collage of scripture forming the story's text from the birth of Jesus to His death, burial, and resurrection. It is more than a harmony of the scriptures, it is the story of His life as told by His disciples as well as His self. The reader may choose to study each scripture. It should be noted that three translations have been used to make the text easier reading. They are the King James Version of the Holy Bible, the New King James Version, and the New American Standard Bible.
It is my hope that this might be beneficial to your spiritual life. May God bless you as you read this beautiful story of love. The research that I have done has had a lasting effect on my life. It is my prayer that you may be pricked in the heart if you are not a Christian. That you may see God's glorious and wondeful present to you. It is my prayer that you will accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour- TODAY! For God's plan of salvation you may go to the end of the outline and read of the requirements to become a Christian.
In His service,
