TRINITY
Who is God?

Prov 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing:
But the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

What do we mean when we talk about the term Trinity.
The word trinity is not in the Bible it is a Latin word that speaks of
the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as being one in unity of the Godhead.
(Divine nature or essence)

The doctrine of the trinity means that within the being and
activity of the one God there are three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Through out the bible we can find the concept of the Trinity from Genesis to Revelation.

A. God calls himself I AM
Jesus calls Himself I AM

In English…….I AM.
In Greek the word for I AM is Ego - Eimi
In Hebrew the word is Ageha or Y H W H = YAHWEH

Only one God

Isa 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Isa 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

GOD SAYS that HE Is the I AM

Ex 03:13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

Ex 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
EX 3: 15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

And God said that His name was I AM and this was His name for ever, and this is God’s memorial unto all generations even this generation.

DEUT 32:39.a See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me:

There is only one God. God himself said so.
Duet 32:39 b There is no god with me.
Isa 44: 6b And beside me there is no God.

Jesus said that he was the I AM

John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Jesus is saying that if you do not believe that he is God you will die in your sins.
He is the same God that appeared to Moses at the burning bush.

AS SOON AS YOU ARE BORN AGAIN YOU HAVE A WITNESS WITHIN THAT JESUS IS GOD.

John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

John 8: 59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Why did the Jews want to kill him? Because He said that He was the I Am,
the God that appeared to Moses at the burning bush.

Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, you may believe that I AM HE

John 18:5 They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.

John 18:6 As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.
John 18:7 Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.

John 18:8 Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:

John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Now I tell you before it comes, that when it is come to pass, you may believe that I AM he.
