MARK TRENT’S TESTIMONY
One of the most important chapters of Mark Trent’s life is when he received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Born in Egypt and grew up in South Africa, Mark then moved to Australia in 1961. He is married to Katherine and has four children, Karen, Nicole, Susan and Stephen.
Living in Sydney, Mark was involved in witchcraft, encouraged by his father, and very carnal ways of living, not realizing that it was from the devil.
In 1974 Katherine started going to a group called the catholic charismatic renewal, and she used to come home from the service and tell Mark all that happened. People’s backs were healed headaches removed etc. She always invited Mark to go with her but due to Mark’s stubborn nature at the time, he would not tag along.
One day Katherine told Mark that they had a healing service with a priest by the name of Father Luke. Mark finally attended this meeting and the lord began to move in a miraculous way.
SUSAN WAS BORN WITH CROOKED LEGS AND GOD HEALED HER. Susan’s complete healing of her straightened legs was finished the next day, through a Catholic priest!
At that very meeting, the catholic priest told Mark he was going to hell without Jesus in his heart! Mark experienced an real encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ which transformed His life from witchcraft, sickness and poverty to freedom in Jesus.
The Miracle of the transforming power of God touched Mark. Many people from all walks of life were helped in the meetings and in many ways Mark experienced a call on his life as well as mighty prophesies over the years to empty out hospitals and nursing homes and to set drug addicts free in the name of Jesus.
Mark spent many years taught under the teaching ministry of Jim Christian, a minister under Clark Taylor and was involved in home bible studies with Errol Marshall at his home.
Mark teaches religious education in primary schools today on the Gold Coast. Mark has witnessed many people come to Jesus by the testimony that Jesus died was buried and rose again, the pure gospel. From the miraculous testimony of his daughter he has witnessed many teachers, children and people everywhere alike have given their hearts to Jesus through his ministry.
Many healings have taken place in Mark’s ministry. In relation to forgiveness in one’s life, Mark believes that “if unforgiveness in the heart will persist, forgiveness in a person’s heart becomes very hard for the complete healing”.
Mark is an encouraging, enthusiastic minister of the Lord, strong and dedicated in the Word and Spirit of God, with a healthy sense of humor too! Mark’s outspoken challenge to people is TO BE SET FREE IN THE NAME OF JESUS! HALLELUA!
