THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESSThe Bible clearly teach that there ARE TWO
KingdomsGod’s Kingdom
1)God’s Kingdom the kingdom of light
God’s Kingdom is control by God and He has rules to establish His kingdom
and we are under His authoritySatan kingdom
2) Satan kingdom the kingdom of darkness.
Satan is in control of this kingdom,
there are numerous fallen angels and demon spirits. under his authority and
control, he also holds people in bondage with sickness disease and povertyThis teaching is a contrast between God's Kingdom and Satan’s. Kingdom
GOD’S KINGDOM
A kingdom of
1. Light
2. Holiness and righteousness
3. Healing and health
4. Truth
5. Life and joy
6. LoveSATAN’S KINGDOM
A kingdom of:
1 Darkness
2) Sin and unrighteousness
3. Sickness and disease
4. Deception
5. Sorrow and death
6. HateBelievers tend either to ignore Satan’s power or to over emphasize it.
It is only through the study of the Word of God that a proper understanding
of this subject can be gained.
SATAN’S DOMAINThe word domain refers to “ The rule, reign and territory over which a King rules”.
The “DOMAIN” of the kingdom of darkness is wherever Satan exercises his domain (rule).
There are many scriptures that relate to this domain. When we look at them we can see that
Satans kingdom is referred to in different ways:SATAN KINGDOM
Matthew 12:25-2 6 “And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against hims4fi how shall then his kingdom stand?”Jesus recognized that Satan had a kingdom,
Jesus refer to it in the above scripture?
Satan’s kingdom also influences the world system.
We know that he ruled on this earth because he took Jesus up onto a pinnacle and tempted Him (Jesus) by offering him all the kingdoms of the world.
Did satan have that power to give away?.
Yes he did have it.
Satan got that power from Adam in the garden of Eden.Luke 4:5-6
“And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it”.
Jesus did not accept Satans temptation, but took authority over him by speaking the word of God to him. Jesus knew that one day all the kingdoms would be his anyway.
Revelations 11:15
“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign forever and everSatan’s domain is limited where a Believers is concerned
Satan cannot exercise his authority over the Believers unless the Believers lets him, through SIN OR THE WORDS OF THEIR MOUTHS
SATAN ORIGIN
Every kingdom displays the nature and character of it’s King.
The King represents the kingdom and the kingdom is like the King. All that is in the kingdom of light is patterned after it’s King, God.
Likewise, all that is in the Kingdom of Darkness is patterned after it’s king, satan. Therefore it is necessary to see what the Bible teaches about Satan. There is very little information given to us in the Bible about the origin and fall of Satan and his hosts. The two main Bible passages which describes Satan’s origin and fall are:
1. Ezekiel 28:1-1 9
2. Isaiah 14:4-23From these passages we gain the following facts:
1)a..Satan is a real person. (He is evil personified)
b. Satan is NOT an impersonal influence of power.
2).Satan is a spirit being (as God is and Angels are).
3.He is a created being (and not a true god: Ezekiel 28:13-15)
4.He is called Lucifer (Daystar, Light bearer or Son of the morning Isaiah 14:12,
2 Corinthians 11:14)5.He was the anointed Cherub. (Ezekiel 28:14, 16, 18)
6.He was in Eden, the Garden of God. (Ezekiel 28:13)
7.He was in the Holy (or Kingdom) of God (Ezekiel 28:14,1 6. Psalm 48:1)
8.He was created perfect. (Ezekiel 28:15)
9.He was full of wisdom. (Ezekiel 28:12)
10.He was created perfect in beauty. (Ezekiel 2 8:12)
11.He was created decked in precious stones set in gold.
NOTE: High Priest’s Breastplate. (Ezekiel 28:13 with Exodus 28:15-21) 12. He was created with music in his being.
Apparently the leader of Heaven’s worship (Ezekiel 2 8:13)
13. He was created once in truth. (John 8:44)Satan has been portrayed as having a red suit, a pointy tail and horns. As you see from these scriptures, that is not true.
HIS FALL
God the Father saw everything that was happening, He saw Satan trying to lift himself higher than God. Satan got into pride. He felt he could be greater than God. He tried exalting himself, but God condemned him for what he was doing, and threw him out of heaven.
Ezekiel 28:17-18
Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty,Thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:
I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic;
therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
Proverbs 16:18
“Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall”.The following headings show other aspects of his fall:
1. He manifested his self will against God’s will. (Isaiah 14:13-15)
NOTE:
The 5 “I WILLS” of Lucifers ambitions here.
2. He fell through pride and self will, the very essence of sin. (Isaiah 14:12;
Proverbs 16:18; Lttke 10:18)
3. He fell as lightening (Luke 10:18 with 2 Corinthians 11:14)
4. He was cast down by God. (Ezekiel 28:16-12)
5. He was the original sinner, and iniquity was found in him.
(1 John 3:8; Ezekiel 28:15,16,18)
6. He did not abide in the truth.
7. He was self deceived (John 8:44)
7. He became a liar and a murderer (John 8:44)
8. He was the first Apostle who caused other Angels to sin in Heaven.
(2 Thessalonians 2:7 with Genesis 3:1-6)
9. His God given wisdom became corrupted and he deceives mankind today with it.
(Ezekiel 28:1 7,18, James 3:15)
10. He will eventually be destroyed by fire.

Satan cannot exercise his authority over the Believers unless the Believers lets him, through SIN OR THE WORDS OF THEIR MOUTHS
. Do not be afraid of this person , Satan. will try to use different methods to take you away from the Gospel, but stay tuned in to God and His word and you will walk victoriously. For you have God given authority over the enemy, and his forces. IN THE NAME OF JESUS
Luke 10:19
“Behold, I give you power (authority) to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power (might) of/he enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you “.
THE CONQUEST OVER SATAN
Jesus Christ came into the world to conquer Satan.II
1John
“....For this purpose the Son of God (Jesus Christ) was manifest, that He might destroy the works of the devil”.
JESUS CHRIST CONQUERED SATAN AS A MANWe all know that when Jesus was on this earth, He operated as a man. So when He defeated Satan, He defeated him as a man. Jesus knew how to defeat Satan. He used the Word of God to defeat him. We have the same Word and the same ability to conquer Satan as Jesus had .In the name of Jesus
Hebrews 2:14
“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also
himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil”.Philippians 2:7-8
“But made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of man:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross”.JESUS CHRIST CONQUERED SATAN, BY HIS DEATH AND RESURRECTION
Colossians 2:14-1 5 (Living Bible)
“God blotted out the charges proved against you, the list of His commandments which you had not obeyed. He took this list of sins and destroyed it by nailing it to Christ’s cross. In this way God took away Satan’s power to accuse you of sin, and God openly displayed to the whole world Christ’s triumph at the cross where your sins were all taken away”.
Ephesians 4:8
Wherefore He saith, when He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive and gave gifts unto manPhilippians 2:9-11
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth, And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God”.As the scriptures show, Jesus not only conquered Satan by his words, but He truly took care of him at the Cross. Through His death and resurrection He conquered Satan once and for all. Jesus conquered him for all of mankind. While He was dead for three days Jesus was down in hell. But when He arose, He took the keys of death and hell with Him. As a result, we now have in Him victory over hell and the grave.
THE CHURCH ELEVATED
Colossians 1:13
“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the Kingdom of his dear Son “.Romans 8:30
“Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called; and whom He called, them He also justified; and whom He justified, them He also glorjfied’Ephesians 2:6
“And has raised us up together and made us sit together in the Heavenly places in Christ Jesus “.Luke 10:19
“Behold, I give you power (authority) to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power (might) of/he enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you “.Ephesians 6:12
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers off the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in the heavenly places’sRead these scriptures carefully for they show us what God has done for us, and what position He has placed us in. He has given us power and authority over everything the devil can throw at us. And He has raised us up together with Christ and has made us to sit together with Him in heavenly places.
SATAN’S ACTIVITYSatan uses many different methods to take us in a different direction from the one God has set down for us. His activities can be grouped in seven main areas:
1) TEMPTATION -
Satan is the enticer1 Corinthians 7:5 (Living Bible)
“So do not refuse these rights to each other. The only exception to this rule would be the agreement of both Husband and Wjfe to refrain from the rights of marriage for a limited time, so that they can give themselves more completely to prayer. Afterwards, they should come together again so that Satan won ‘t be able to tempt them because of /heir lack of self-control”.2) SIN - Satan is the originator of rebellion.
Ephesians 2:2
“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience”.3) DECEPTION - Deception is the greatest power of Satan.
2 C’orinthians 11:3
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ”.4) ACCUSATION - Satan hurls accusations against the saints continually.
Revelations 12:10
‘And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God,and the power of His Christ, for the accuser of our brethen is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night”.5) AFFLICTION - He seeks to afflict us physically and mentally.
Luke 13:16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
6) OPPOSITION - He is involved in a great spiritual war against God and His kingdom.
1 Peter 5:8
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”.7) DEATH - Death was the greatest power Satan manifested.
Hebrews 2:14
“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil”.SUMMARY
We must always remember that Jesus came to earth for one reason, that was to destroy the works of the devil. He did this for us. Jesus conquered Satan, and made us more than conquerors over him.
IMPORTANCE OF FELLOWSHIPWhat we receive at Church when we fellowship with other believers, is something we cannot receive from any other source. It is a time of Christians coming together in agreement. Therefore it is God’s desire for us to fellowship.
In the book of Acts it tells us the importance of the church and the feeding of its members.
God’s church started on the day of Pentecost, and in one day three thousand were added to the church.“Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them “. Acts 2:41
The scriptures tell us not to forsake the fellowship times. This is not necessarily for the fellowship’s sake, but for our own spiritual growth so we can develop a closer and richer relationship with God our Father. The teaching, the fellowship and the time of praise and worship are an intricate part of our spiritual growth, and receiving more understanding of God’s Word.
This time of fellowship is in obedience to God’s instruction, and is a time when we should be blessed by God, and be a blessing to our brothers and sisters in the fellowship.
Our physical body needs muscle tissue, ligaments and joints to function effectively, so the church is ineffective without all its members. Each member is important for the function and effectiveness of God’s church.
“From whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love”. Ephesians 4:16
Regular attendance and punctuality is an expression of our loyalty and obedience to God. We need to go to church with an expectation of God to do something great in our lives every time. It is a time to come together with others. We are not alone or isolated, we are all part of the one body and we can link ourselves together as the church to agree in prayer.
The church is a family. We are bonded together supernaturally. This bond often is even closer than a natural family.
OUR PASTORThe Pastor has been called to shepherd over God’s people. The scriptures use the shepherd and the sheep to illustrate the relationship of the Pastor and his people.
God has given the Pastor the vision for His church, and will speak to the Pastor concerning the direction and needs of His people. God speaks to the shepherd first. The Pastor is accountable to Jesus, the Head of the Church, for the body of believers placed under his care in the church.
“That there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another “. 1 Corinthians 12:25
God’s Word continually shows us the importance of unity and the power that comes when there is agreement. We need to have a true respect and loyalty for our leadership, even when we think they miss it. People who float from church to church are not generally spiritually mature. We need to allow ourselves to be teachable and be correctable, if and when we need it.
“Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple”. Romans 16:1 7-18
God has done and will do many miracles and mighty things in your life through your devoted Pastor. They are so precious and important to your spiritual growth and development, that you should give thanks and pray for them continually.
“In whom the whole buiding, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in Whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit”.
Ephesians 2:21-2 2
