THE NEW COVENANT
(A) UNDERSTAND THE NEW BIRTH
It is important to understand the new birth is the saving grace of God, when we invite Jesus Christ into our hearts as Lord and saviour, healer and provider of our lives we received a new nature we are born again
John 3: 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
(B) THE FALL
Genesis 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
MAN HAD GODS NATURE BEFORE HE SINNED.
--SIN ENTERED THE SPIRIT OF MAN.
--MAN WAS CUT OFF FROM GOD.
--MAN CEASED TO HAVE FELLOW-SHIP WITH GOD.
--MAN ENTERED THE DOMAIN OF SATAN.
--MAN RECEIVE SATAN NATURE.
Satans nature is to steal, kill, and destroy.
(C) WHEN DID WE DIE SO THAT WE CAN BE BORN AGAIN
When a baby is born, that baby has Gods Light in them. So as thy reach the age where thy know right from wrong, and they know that what they are doing is wrong. Sin enters them and that light that is in them goes out.
That is the time to be born again
John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
John 1:9 that was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
The scripture above says that Jesus is the true Light and every one that is born, has been born with the Light of God.
If a child dies they go straight to heaven
Romans 7:9 KJV For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
The writer of Romans 7:9 says that he was alive without the law. (alive unto God)
Not physical life but spiritual, then he says when the commandment came (or the knowledge of good and evil came) sin revived (sin came into him) and he died spiritually unto God, he is not talking about physical death but spiritual death thats why we must be born again
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Lesson 1
The Name Of Jesus
(Mark 9:39) But Jesus said, forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
Ps 89:34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
(Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
(Jesus said heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and raise the dead, cast out devils
God watches over His word to perform it
God is obligated to his word to perform it
Power Of Attorney
E W. Kenyon was a holding meeting in a city in Tennessee. One afternoon, while giving an address on The Name of Jesus a lawyer interrupted Him, and asking:
Do you mean to say that Jesus gave us the Power of Attorney'.
The Legal Right to use His Name?
Kenyon said to him, Brother, you are a lawyer and I am a layman. Tell medid Jesus give us the Power of Attorney?
He said, If language means anything, then Jesus gave to
The church the Power of Attorney.
Then Kenyon asked him, What is the value of this Power of
Attorney?
He answered, It depends upon how much there is back of
It, how much authority, how much power this Name represents.
Let us find out how much power and authority Jesus has given to the church.
Jesus Inherited His Name
First, He inherited a more excellent Name than any of the angels as the First Begotten Son.
(Heb 1:4) Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
(Heb 8:6) But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
God Gave Him His Name
Second, God gave to Him a Name above every name that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow in the three worlds.
(Phil 2:10) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Third, by His conquest over sin, Satan, disease, death, hell, and the grave
He acquired a Name that is above all names.
(Col 2:15) And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Teaching Them To Observe All Things
(Mat 28:18) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Power Is Given To Us
Mark16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
how much authority, how much power this Name represents.
The measure of His ability is the measure of the value of that Name,
Is this name available to us
 Jesus said In my name
all that is invested in that Name belongs to us,
Jesus gave us the unqualified use of His Name.
John 16:24, Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive that your joy may be made full.
Jesus, here, not only gives us the use of His Name but He also declares that the prayer, prayed in His Name will receive His special attention.
Whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My Name, He will give it to you.
Jesus says, You ask of the Father in My Name; I will endorse that, and the Father will give it to you.
This puts prayer on totally legal grounds for He has given
us the legal right to use His Name.
As we take our privileges, and rights, in the new Covenant and pray in
Jesus Name, it passes out of our hands into the hands of Jesus;
He then assumes the responsibility of that prayer,
and we know that He said in John 11:41, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
In other words, we know that the Father always hears Jesus, and when we pray in Jesus Name, it is as though Jesus Himself were doing the prayingHe takes our place.
He is with us in the Power and Authority of His Name.
WE HAVE A FOUR-FOLD RIGHT TO USE THE NAME.
First, we are born into the family of God and the Name
belongs to the family.
Vagabond Jews, Exorcists,
(Acts 19:13 KJV) Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
Second, we are baptized into the Name, and being baptized
Into the Name, we are baptized into Christ Himself.
Third, it was conferred upon us by Jesus who gave us
The Power of Attorney. (Mat 28:18
Fourth, we are commissioned as Ambassadors to go and
herald this Name among the nations. (Mat 28:18
(Gal 4:7) Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
You have a Right to the use of the Name of Jesus, and if you have this Right, it is because of your place in the family.
Repent, And Be Baptized In That Name
(Acts 2:38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Healing
(Acts 3:6) Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
(Acts 3:12 ) And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
(Acts 4:7 ) And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
(Acts 4:10) Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
Not To Speak Teach In The Name
(Acts 4:18) And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
(Acts 5:40) And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
Believed In The Name
(Acts 8:12 KJV) But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
Preached In The Name Of Jesus.
(Acts 9:27 KJV) But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.
Come Out Of Her
(Acts 16:18 KJV) And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.
Call Upon The Name Of Jesus
(1 Cor 1:2 KJV) Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
Every Knee Should Bow
(Phil 2:10 KJV) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Receive One Such Little Child
(Mat 18:5 KJV) And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
Two Or Three Are Gathered
(Mat 18:20 KJV) For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Many.Deceive
(Mat 24:5 KJV) For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
A CUP OF WATER TO DRINK IN MY NAME,
(Mark 9:41 KJV) For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
SIGNS SHALL FOLLOW
(Mark 16:17 KJV) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
WHATSOEVER YE SHALL ASK
(John 14:13 KJV) And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
JESUS WILL DO IT.
John 14:14 KJV) If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
HOLY GHOST, SEND IN MY NAME
(John 14:26) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
WHATSOEVER YE SHALL ASK
(John 15:16) Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
(John 16:23) And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
(John 16:24) Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Every thing is in His name of Jesus
Lesson 2 How did sickness enter this world?
(1 John 3:8) He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
(Rom 5:12) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
WAGES OF SIN (Rom 6:23 KJV) For the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
LACK OF KNOWLEDGE
Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
MAN IN GODS IMAGE
(Gen 1:26 ) And God said; Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
(Gen 1:27) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
(Gen 1:28) And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
(Gen 1:29) And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
How did man sin
(Gen 2:16 KJV) And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
DYING THOU SHALT DIE
Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Margin of my bible Heb, dying thou shalt die) indicating two deaths
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, we may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, what is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
PROMISE OF JESUS
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
FIRST SACRIFICE
21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
Satan is the originator of sin, sickness and death. John 10:10
Satan caused Adam and Eve to disobey God. (Gen 3:1-19
God is not the author of sickness and death, John 10:10
God warned Adam not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (Gen 2:17
Is it Gods fault Adam eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? NO Is it not Gods fault
THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH (Rom 6:23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Is it any wonder Jesus said sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
(John 5:14) Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
WHICH IS EASIER TO SAY, THY SINS BE FORGIVEN THEE; OR TO SAY ARISE?
Mark 9-11 Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? 10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)
11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. (Mark 2:12 KJV) And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, we never saw it on this fashion.
Jesus proved to them that He had the power to forgive sin by healing the mans. Palsy, which was the result of sin.
WHERE DOES SICKNESS AND DEATH COME FROM?
1 sickness comes from the devil?
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.
satan comes to steal, to kill, to destroy
2 How does satan steal, kill & destroy?
He makes sick to destroy and kill.
When someone is sick satan robs him of time and money.
(Heb 2:14 KJV) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
1 Jo 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
(Luke 4:35) And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.
THE DEVIL IS THE AUTHOR OF SICKNESS AND DISEASE AND DEATH.
SPIRIT OF INFIRMITY
(Luke 13:11-16 KJV) And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the Sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.
15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?
Satan has spirits that afflicted mankind with sickness, disease, poverty depression, death etc.
Satan also has a host of spirit working for him to afflict mankind.
 spirit of infirmity,
 deaf and dumb spirit,
 unclean spirit
 foul spirit
 spirit of jealousy,
 familiar spirits,
 spirit of heaviness, (or depression)
 a spirit of divination
 unclean devil,
 spirit of antichrist,
 Spirit of error.
Mark 1:30 sick of a fever
Note, these evil spirits need to occupy a body
AS Above
Mark 9:25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
(Mark 1:23 KJV) And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
Num 5:30 Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law
Isa 19:3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.
Isa 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
(Luke 4:33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,
(Luke 13:11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
(Acts 16:16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
(2 Tim 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
(1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
(1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Lesson 3
Different reasons for sickness
The devil is the source of all sickness
1. (Psa 125:3 KJV) For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
2. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly
3. The graven images
(Deu 7:25 KJV) The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.
4. Third and fourth generation
(Exo 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying,
(Exo 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
(Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
(4) Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
(5) Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve
them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
(Num 14:18 KJV) The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.
(Deu 5:7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
(Deu 5:8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:
(Deu 5:9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,
(Lev 26:1 KJV) Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.
(Deu 4:16 KJV) Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,
(17 ) The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,
(18 ) The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:
(19 ) And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.
(23) Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.
(24 ) For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.
(25 ) When thou shalt beget children, and children's children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger:
(Deu 4:26) I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.
(Deu 4:27) And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you.
(Deu 4:28) And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
(Deu 4:29) But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
(Deu 4:30) When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
(Deu 4:31) (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
(Isa 44:9) They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.
(Isa 44:10) Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?
(Isa 44:11) Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.
(Isa 44:15) Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.
(Isa 44:16) He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:
(Isa 44:17) And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
(Isa 44:18) They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.
(Isa 44:19) And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?
(Isa 44:20) He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?
(Isa 45:20) Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
(Isa 48:5) I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I showed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.
(Jer 10:14) Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
(Jer 10:15) They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
(Nahum 1:14) And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.
(Hab 2:18) What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?
(Hab 2:19) Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
(Deu 13:1) If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
(Deu 13:2) And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
(Deu 13:3) Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
(Deu 13:4 ) Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
5. Sin
Ex 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I [am] the LORD that Healeth thee.
6. Curses as a result of disobedience: Deuteronomy 28. 15:68
Key verse 61
Deu 28:61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which [is] not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
THE POWER OF THE TOUNGE
6.Self imposed curses -----------(Talk about Brenda Herd)
Self imposed curses can be activated by your words fear, foolish talk, anger or desperation
If Jesus STOOD here in person and you could see Him and He said, from now every thing you say you will have, good or bad, what will you be saying?
Words spoken CAN ETHER BLESS YOU OR CURSE YOU
Words spoken are the most powerful weapon
God's creative power will work for you
faith failed words will put you over
fear filled words will defeat you.
words are the most powerful things in the universe
(Prov 6:2) Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
(Prov 18:21 KJV) Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
(Prov 18:20) A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
(Mat 15:17) Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
(Mat 15:18) But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
(Mat 15:19) For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
(Mat 15:20) These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
(Prov 12:13) The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.
(Prov 12:14) A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompense of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.
Pro 15:4 A wholesome tongue [is] a tree of life: but perverseness therein [is] a breach in the spirit.
Pro 12:18 There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise [is] health.
(Prov 13:2 KJV) A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence.
(Prov 13:3 KJV) He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
(Prov 16:23 KJV) The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.
(Prov 16:24 KJV) Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
7. The devil uses any doorway to come in to the sheepfold to cause sickness, disease and death
John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Unbelief, fear, imaginations, accidents, accusation, character faults and traits are all doorways for the devil to get in through. These doors are not of Jesus but of the flesh.
2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;
But of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law and they
that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and
lusts.
8. LACK OF KNOWLEDGE
Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
9. Lack of exercise & proper eating
1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the
Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Pro 23:20 Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh:
Pro 23:21 For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and
drowsiness shall clothe [a man] with rags.
10. . OLD AGE
Where in the bible does it say we must get old with pain and sickness?
Gen 18:11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
Luk 1:36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a
son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called
barren.
Luk 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
(John 8:32 KJV) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
(John 8:36 KJV) If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Do not ignore the Semitism of sickness.
Sickness and diseased are the anomies of God
Sickness and disease are your enemies
 treat them as your enemy
treat them like your worst enemy
 treat them like a personality
 speak against them
 speak to them
 never speak tenderly of them
 never speak nice about them
 hate sickness and disease
When you see the sick and dying in hospital
and that Children and adults in wheelchairs have no control over there movements.
God did not cause that, the devil Satan cause that he come to steal kill and destroy
Lesson 4
The Final authority The Word of God
(Mat 28:19, 20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
1. Can the Word of God be trusted?
Num6ers 23:19-20 19 God is not a man that he should lie; neither the son of man that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.
Psalms 119:89

Ps 89:34My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
(Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. (Jesus said heal the sick raise the dead
1. Gods Word is always honorable...
2. God will never violate his covenant Word...
3. Gods Word is Gods guarantee it never changes...
(Isa 55:11 KJV) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
God will always watch over His Word and makes sure it will never return void, it will always prosper in what it has been sent to do
Lesson 5
The reason for Jesus ministry
Is it Gods will to heal everyone?
Yes is it Gods will to heal everyone
(Acts 10:38 KJV) How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
(Rom 6:23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(1 John 3:8 KJV) He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
(Isa 53:5 KJV) But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
(1 Pet 2:24 KJV) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Lesson 6
What does Gods Name say about healing?
GOD AND HIS NAMES
Jehovah-Rapha is one of Gods seven redemptive names
1. Jehovah--Shammah---- The Lord ever presentI will never leave
nor forsake
2. Jehovah--Jireh --- The Lord our provider
3. Jehovah-- Nissi--- The Lord our Banner
4. Jehovah-- Shalom--- The Lord our Peace
5. Jehovah-- Raah --- The Lord my Shepherd
6. Jehovah--Tsidkenu --- The Lord our Righteousness
7. Jehovah--Rapha The Lord That Healeth
God has always been mankinds Healeth Jehovah-Rapha the Lord That Healeth thee
(Heb 13:8 KJV) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
(James 1:17 KJV) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
If Jesus is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever and there is neither shadow of turning, then He is still Jehovah-Rapha The Lord That Healeth thee
(Isa 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, [kholee, sicknesses] and carried our sorrows: [makob, pains] yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
(1 Pet 2:24 KJV) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
(Mat 8:16 KJV) When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
(Mat 8:17 KJV) That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself (Jesus) took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Psalm 103.2:5) Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagles.
The Lord That Healeth Thee
(Exo 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God,
and wilt do that which is right in his sight,
and wilt give ear to his commandments,
 and keep all his statutes,
I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. [or] (I am the Lord thy physician)
The English KJV) Translation
I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. [Or] (I am the Lord thy physician)
But the translaters found it difficult to translate this truth from the Hebrew to the English, that is that God allowed these diseases upon the Egyptians and not that He brought them upon the Egyptians. The translators blame god in the written form.
The Original Hebrew Hebrew language says
(Exo 15:26 I will not allow these diseases upon thee, which I have allowed upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. [or] (I am the Lord thy physician)
Exo 15:26 In the original Hebrew God said I AM Jehovah-Rapha the Lord That Healeth thee
(Exo 23:24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
(Exo 23:25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
No idols, Buddha or other gods.
Lesson 7
REDEEMED FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW
CURSE OF THE LAW
(Gal 3:13 KJV) Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
(Gal 3:29 KJV) And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
What is the curse of the law?
(Deu 28:1-14 Blessings
(Deu 28:1 KJV) And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
CURSE OF THE LAW
(Deu 28:15 KJV) But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
(Deu 28:16-61) Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.
(Deu 28:60 KJV) Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.
(Deu 28:61 KJV) Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
SPIRIT OF INFIRMITY
(Luke 13:10 KJV) And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.
11) And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
(Acts 10:38 KJV) How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
(Heb 13:8 KJV) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
THE WORD WAS GOD
(John 1:1 KJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
(Heb 1:1 KJV) God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
(Heb 1:2 KJV) Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
(Heb 1:3 KJV) Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
(Isa 53:4 KJV) Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
(Isa 53:5 KJV) But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
(Mat 8:17 KJV) That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
(1 Pet 2:24 KJV) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
GODS WORD IS GODS MEDICINE:
There are two things people strive for above everything else in life and that is, good health and long life. There are four steps we can do to obtain these goals
(Prov 4:20 KJV)
My son, attend to my words;
Incline thane ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes;
Keep them in the midst of thine heart.
2 For they are life unto those that find them,
And health (and medicine) to all their flesh.
Health in the Hebrew literally means Medicine or Healing:
STEP ONE:
 Attend to Gods words
Prov 4:20 Be attentive and listen to Gods word...
God tells us we can only find life and good health through His Word.
STEP TWO:
Having long life and good health is also found in Verse twenty; Incline your ear to my sayings a.... If you want to walk in the fullness of life and good health, give Gods Word your undivided attention, put everything aside thats against the Word of God.
Too many people try to know God by feelings; Smith Wigglesworth said, I cannot understand God by feelings. I understand God through the Word of God. God is everything the Word says he is.
STEP THREE:
Prov 4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; ...We are to read as well as listen to Gods Word. We are to keep our minds fixed on the healer himself [Jesus]. We are to keep the Word of God continually before our eyes.
(Heb 12:2 KJV) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
STEP FOUR long life and good health
(Prov 4:21 KJV) Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
(Prov 4:22 KJV) For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Healings is still happening today we have a new and better covenant, what can we expect from God if we have a new and better covenant
God is telling His people, if they would obey His word, He would hold back these forces that have been set loose on the earth by the devil.
(Mal 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Son of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
(Psa 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Luk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord (is) upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
(Mat 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
God will always watch over his Word and make sure it will never return void it will always prosper in what it has been sent to do.
LESSON 8
THE LAW OF IDENTIFICATION
Teaching Excerpts from EW Kenyons book titled Identification
1. Identification with Christ.
2. Crucified with Christ
3. He was made sin
4. He was made sick
Identification with Christ.
What does Our Identification with Christ mean?
It means our complete union with Him in His Substitutionary Sacrifice.
For instance, this term is used: I have been crucified with Christ. This is our Identification with Christ in His Crucifixion.
 I died with Christ.
 I was buried with Christ.
 I suffered with Christ.
I was made alive with Christ.
Now I am seated with Him.
This little word with is the key that has unlocked a long-hidden truth that is of vital importance to us. This teaching will lead us into Gods greatest Revelation connected with the New Creation.
The teaching of Identification is the legal side of our Redemption.
It unveils to us what God did in Christ for us, from the time He went to the Cross, until He sat down on the right hand of the Father.
The vital side of Redemption is what the Holy Spirit, through the Word, is doing in us now.
Several times Paul uses the preposition with in connection with His Substitutionary teaching.
Gal. 2:20 I have been crucified WITH Christ.
Then he tells us that he died WITH Christ, that he was buried WITH Christ.
This gives us the key that unlocks the great teachings of Identification.
(Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Christ became one with us in sin, that we might become one with Him in Righteousness.
He became as we were, to the end that we might be as He is now.
He became one with us in death, that we might be one with Him in life.
 There is a two-fold oneness:
First His oneness with our sin on the cross;
Second, our oneness with Him in His glory on the throne.
Eph. 2:6 And raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus.
He became as we were, so that we might become as He is.
He died to make us live.
He was made sin to make us Righteous.
He became weak to make us strong.
He suffered shame to give us glory.
He went to Hell in order to take us to Heaven.
He was condemned in order to Justify us.
He was made sick in order that healing might be ours.
He was cast out from the presence of God in order to make us welcome there.
In the fact of Identification we have one of the richest phases of Redemption.
CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST
When Paul said, I have been crucified with Christ, it meant he had been judged, condemned, cast out, stripped naked, and nailed to the cross.
The very thought of crucifixion to a Jew, and especially to a Pharisee, brought a sense of shame and horror.
When Saul of Tarsus identified himself with the Man, Jesus, accepted Him as his Saviour, and confessed Him as his Lord, that moment he became a crucified man to the Jewish people.
 He became an outcast.
No wonder he said in Gal. 6:14 that the world had been crucified unto him, and he had been crucified unto the world.
The world had been stripped naked to Paul.
There was no longer any delusion in regard to it.
He could no longer be deceived.
 He knew its cruelty.
He had felt its lash upon his back.
He remembered the stoning that had left him unconscious.
He remembered that in every place he went, he faced the anger, bitterness, and jealousy of men.
He had been stripped naked to the world.
There was nothing in him that the world desired.
That little Jew, with his mighty message, and his tremendous power in prayer, had been crucified to the world.
We understand what crucifixion actually means.
Paul saw his Identification with Christ in His crucifixion.
We understand that crucifixion did not mean death.
It meant union with Christ in His disgrace and suffering.
Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin.
Crucifixion points the way to death.
In the Spirits great argument of our Identification with Christ He said that our old man, this hidden man of the heart, our spirit, the real man who was filled with spiritual death, Satanic nature, was nailed to the cross in Christ. Christ went there, not for Himself, not as a martyr, but as a Substitute.
We were nailed to the cross with Christ.
 We were crucified with him.
The object of the crucifixion, in the mind of the mob, was to get rid of this Man whom they hated.
In the mind of Justice it meant His Identification
With humanity in its sin and suffering, and our Identification with Him in His crucifixion.
HE WAS MADE SIN
In the great drama of our Redemption, as soon as Christ was nailed to the cross, with His crown of thorns, and with the howling mob that surrounded Him, Justice began to do its awful work behind the scenes.
Sense -Knowledge men and women who surrounded the cross could only see the physical man, Jesus, hanging there.
 God could see His spirit.
 Angels could see His spirit.
Demons could see the real man, hidden in that body.
Then came the dreadful hour when 2 Corinthians 5:21 was fulfilled.
Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
Isaiah 53:5 He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and Jehovah hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
On that awful cross, He not only became sin, but He became a curse, for in Galatians 8:13 it tells us, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is everyone that
hangeth on a tree. (The word us there refers to the Jews).
He came as a Jew under the First Covenant to redeem all those who were under that Covenant from the curse of the Law. .
When He was hanging on the cross, He was not only sin, but He was a curse.
Is it any wonder that God turned His back upon Him?
Is it any wonder He cried in His agony, My God,
My God, why hast thou forsaken me?
He had taken the sinners place in Judgment.
All the forces of darkness had overwhelmed Him.
 He was our sin Substitute.
Sin was not reckoned to Him. Sin was not set to His account. He became sin.
Our Senses reel under the staggering thought of it. We cannot grasp it.
Only our spirits can fathom the depths of His agony.
You can hear Paul cry, (Philippians 3:10) That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death.
 Pauls prayer amazes one.
He wanted to share in the death-agonies of Christ.
He wanted to fellowship His sufferings.
But Paul could not do that.
 No one could do it.
 No angel could do it.
It was Gods own work that must be wrought.
When He surrendered His Son to death, He un-veiled a love that begs description.
HE WAS MADE SICK
The next step in this awful drama is found in Isaiah 53:3-5
He was despised, and rejected of men; a man of pains, and acquainted with sickness: and as one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our sicknesses, and carried our diseases; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
It was not what the Roman soldiers nor the angry mob did, was what God did.
It shocks us when we realize that He was stricken, smitten of God with our diseases and our sin.
There was laid upon Him the diseases and sicknesses
of the human race.
 Isaiah 53:10 Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him;
He hath made him sick.
He was not only made sin and separated from His Father, until His broken heart cried; My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? but the diseases of the human race fell upon Him.
Isaiah 52:14 (Margin, Cross-Reference Bible) Just as many were amazed over Him, and princes on His account shuddered, were astonished and appalled, amazed, frightened. His visage was so marred, unlike to a man, and His form unlike to the Sons of man, so deformed was His appearance not to be a man, and His figure no longer resembled a man.
This was spiritual suffering.
This was when the hidden man of the heart became not only sin, but sickness.
This was the spiritual side of the agony of the cross.
This was when our sin and diseases were laid upon His spirit.
 His spirit was made sin
 His spirit was made sick.
If the heart could only take it in that He was made sin, and that we were Identified with Him on the cross, then we could grasp the reality of His Substitutionary work.
This truth has been a doctrine instead of a reality to most of us.
He not only laid our sin on Him, but He laid us on Him.
The whole man was involved in this sacrificeHis spirit, Soul, and His body.
We were nailed to the cross with Him and in Him.
Our diseases were part of Him.
When the heart recognizes this, it will be the end of the dominion of disease.
For if He was made sick with our sickness, Satan has no legal right to put diseases upon us, and in the Name of Jesus we can free ourselves from Satans power.
True, we have mortal bodies, but this mortal body is filled with the life of Cod.
2 Corinthians 5:4 That what is mortal may be swallowed up of life.
Romans 6:14 Sin shall not have dominion over you, or literally, Sin shall not lord it over you.
Neither shall disease and pain lord it over us.
We see now that if Satan has lost his dominion,
He cannot put disease upon us.
We understand that sickness is spiritual. It is manifested in our physical bodies as a disease. The world sees sickness in our bodies; God sees sickness in our spirits. God heals us through the Word.
It is the Word that heals our spirits.
It is the Word that recreates us.
It is the Word that produces faith.
It is the Word that unveils to us what we really are in ChristNew Creations.
It is the Word, then, that brings healing to these sick spirits of ours.
Sickness is a spiritual condition manifested in the physical body.
If He was made sin, and if He put our sin away, we need not be ruled by it.
If He was made sick with our sickness, and if He put our diseases away, we need not be ruled by sickness and disease.
We, with our diseases and sicknesses, were nailed to the cross in Christ.
When we recognize this, we will no longer struggle for faith, for Righteousness, and holiness, because we will know that we were nailed to the cross and died with Him,
 were buried with Him,
 suffered with Him,
 were made alive with Him,
 were Justified with Him,
 conquered Satan with Him,
 were raised with Him,
And finally were seated with Him.
The whole program of that Substitutionary Sacrifice is made real in us by the Spirit through the Word. All these things are ours now. Ephesians 1:3.
Lesson 9
WHY IS SICKNESS ALLOWED
Sickness does not come from God
Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.
(James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
(Prov 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue
(Job 6:24) Teach me, and I will hold my tongue: and cause me to understand wherein I have erred...
NO MIGHTY WORK
(Mat 13:57) And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
(Mark 6:5) And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about
the villages, teaching.
I AM GABRIEL
(Luke 1:19 KJV) And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to show thee these glad tidings.
20 And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.
SATAN HATH BOUND
(Luke 13:16 KJV) And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?
The priest did not do there job
SIN NO MORE
(John 5:14 KJV) Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
WHO DID SIN
(John 9:1 KJV) And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2) And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
THAT BLINDNESS WAS A RESULT FROM THE ADAMIC SIN (FALL)
MIGHT BE GLORIFIED THEREBY.
(John 11:4 KJV) When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
(John 11:43 KJV) And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
(John 11:44 KJV) And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
(Acts 9:8 KJV) And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
AND HEALING ALL THAT WERE OPPRESSED OF THE DEVIL
(Acts 10:38 KJV) How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
THOU SHALT BE BLIND
(Acts 13:11 KJV) And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
AND FELL IN ONE DAY THREE AND TWENTY THOUSAND.
(1 Cor 10:8 KJV) Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
EATETH AND DRINKETH UNWORTHILY
(1 Cor 11:29 KJV) For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
Lesson 10
ANOINTING
But brother or sister, I dont have your anointing! Yes you do! : -
1 John 2;27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
We have the mind of Christ
(1 Cor 2:16 KJV) For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
The ANOINTING in you is His,
The Anointing does not come and go
I am more aware of the Anointing when I am teaching, preaching or praying for the sick, but the Anointing is still the same
(Luke 4:18 KJV) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
The Spirit of the Lord (is) upon you, because he hath anointed you to
Preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent you to heal the broken-hearted,
To preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty them that are bruised,
(Mark 5:30 KJV) And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
(Luke 8:46 KJV) And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
(Luke 6:19) And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.
PETER SHADOW
(Acts 5:15) Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
Samson
(Judges 13:24) And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him.
25 And the spirit of the LORD began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol.
The church is something like that
We set in the church waiting for God to move us
David
(1 Sam 16:13) Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
US
(Rom 8:11 KJV) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
BONES OF ELISHA
(2 Ki 13:21) And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.
DAGON
(1 Sam 5:1 And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Ebenezer unto Ashdod.
2 When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon.
3. And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.
:4 And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.
5 Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon's house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day.
6 But the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the coasts thereof.
7 And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.
VIRTUE
δύναμις
dunamis
doo'-nam-is
From G1410; force (literally or figuratively); specifically miraculous power (usually by implication a miracle itself): - ability, abundance, meaning, might (-ily, -y, -y deed), (worker of) miracle (-s), power, strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work.
(2 Pet 1:3 KJV) According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
(2 Pet 1:5 KJV) And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
(Isa 10:27 KJV) And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
Jesus set people free because God was IN him. If we have God IN us then we should also be setting oppressed people free. Peter was not afraid to say
Such as I have gave I thee (Ac 3:6) nor was Paul afraid to say Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ (lCo 11:1).
There is no set way to release the anointing.
If there were sets way then we would make them a ritual.
People have to discover for themselves how to release Gods anointing.
We need to let Jesus be Jesus in us.
The most Jesus that some people will ever see will be the Jesus we show them.
Lesson 11
The role of spiritual gifts in healing
Isa 45:11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker,
Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of
My hands command ye me.
Spiritual gifts
(1 Cor 2:10) But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
(1 Cor 2:11) For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
(1 Cor 2:12) Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
(1 Cor 2:13) Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
(1 Cor 2:14) But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1Co 14:1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual [gifts], but rather that ye may prophesy.
This explains that God wants everyone to be able to move in the gifts
God desires everyone to have all spiritual gifts
(1 Cor 12:1) Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant
(1 Cor 12:2) Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
(1 Cor 12:3) Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
1Co 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
1Co 12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
1Co 12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
1Co 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
1Co 12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another
The word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
1Co 12:9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of
Healing by the same Spirit;
1Co 12:10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to
another discerning of spirits; to another [divers] kinds of tongues; to
Another the interpretation of tongues:
1Co 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing
To every man severally as he will.
This does not indicate that only one person in the church can have this gift
(1)word of wisdom, (2) word of knowledge (3) faith (4) gifts of healing
 (5) working of miracles (6) prophecy (7) discerning of spirits
(8)[divers] kinds of tongues (9) interpretation of tongues
1. word of wisdom
Word of wisdom
This is a specific word again in being able to advise a person wisely about the health condition. In the case of Namaan the leper who came to Elisha, he was advised by his servant to obey the instructions of Elisha so that he could be healed.
2Ki 5:9 So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood
at the door of the house of Elisha.
2Ki 5:10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in
Jordan seven times and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou
shalt be clean.
2Ki 5:11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I
thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of
the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the
Leper.
2Ki 5:12 [Are] not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than
all the waters of Israel? May I not wash in them, and be clean? So he
turned and went away in a rage.
2Ki 5:13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, my
father, [if] the prophet had bid thee [do some] great thing, wouldest
thou not have done [it]? how much rather then, when he saith to thee,
Wash, and be clean?
2Ki 5:14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan,
according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like
unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
2. A Word of Knowledge
This is an extremely powerful and important gift from God. It operates on the basis of God giving you a specific word of knowledge concerning a person or in general about a sickness in the room.
If you called it out and prayed for the one who came forward they would be healed.
Generally speaking when a word of knowledge is given the person is healed because God wants to heal that person and so He gave that word of knowledge.
Sometimes God may give a word of knowledge about sin or personal loss or abuse in a persons life which they have to confess before they are healed.
(Mat 10:20 KJV) For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
(John 14:17 KJV) Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
PHILIP FINDETH NATHANAEL
(Isa 45:11) Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
(John 1:45) Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
(46) And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.
(47) Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
(48) Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.
(49) Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.
(50) Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? Thou shalt see greater things than these.
(51) And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
A WORD OF KNOWLEDGE MANIFESTED THROUGH AN INWARD REVELATION
WOMAN OF SAMARIA
(John 1:7) There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
29 Come; see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
ANANIAS, WITH SAPPHIRA
(Acts 5:1) But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
(Acts 5:2) And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it, at the apostles' feet.
(Acts 5:3 KJV) But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
(Acts 5:4 KJV) Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? And after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
(Acts 5:5) And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
(Acts 5:6) And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.
(Acts 5:7) And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.
(Acts 5:8) And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.
(Acts 5:9 KJV) Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.
(Acts 5:10) Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.
Acts 5:11) And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.
A WORD OF KNOWLEDGE N A VISION
SAUL, OF TARSUS
(Acts 9:10) And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
(Acts 9:11) And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
(Acts 9:12) And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
(Acts 9:13) Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
(Acts 9:14) And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
(Acts 9:15) But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
(Acts 9:16) For I will show him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
(Acts 9:17) And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
(Acts 9:18) And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
(Acts 9:19) And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.
(Acts 9:20) And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.
This story of Sauls conversion is an example of the gifts in operation
Ananias Receive a word of Knowledge from God in a vision concerning Saul of Tarsus God releases gift of faith to act upon the word
Then either the gift of healing or miracles will work
Saul of Tarsus saw in a vision a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
3. faith
Gift of faith
Gal 3:5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh
miracles among you, [doeth he it] by the works of the law, or by the
hearing of faith?
The gift of faith is a gift from the Holy Ghost it operates with the rest of the gifts, (1) word of wisdom, (2) word of knowledge (3) faith (4) gifts of healing (5) working of miracles (6) prophecy (7) discerning of spirits
(8)[divers] kinds of tongues (9) interpretation of tongues
also laying on of hands, casting out devils
4. gifts of healing
Gifts of healing
This is a specific gift from the Holy Spirit. This gift is operated by the individual and is used in healing. This gift whether one has it or not doesn't stop an individual from healing in the name of Jesus. Because Mark 16.17 says that they who Believe will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.
5. working of miracles
Working of miracles
Gal 3:5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh
miracles among you, [doeth he it] by the works of the law, or by the
hearing of faith?
Act 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached
Christ unto them.
Act 8:6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things
which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
Act 8:7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed [with them]: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
6 It also means the working of miracles in the Old Testament
ELIJAH AND THE WOMAN AND THE BARREL OF MEAL THAT WASTED NOT
(1 Ki 17:12 KJV) And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me and after make for thee and for thy son.
14 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.
15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah
THE AXE HEAD FELL INTO THE WATER
. (2 Ki 6:5 KJV) But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.
(2 Ki 6:6) And the man of God said, where fell it? And he showed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.
ELIJAH SMOTE THE WATERS
(2 Ki 2:8 KJV) And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.
In the case of internal organs or other difficult cases the miracle is worked literally till knowledge of healing is known or by faith it is known
6. prophecy
Prophecy
2Ki 20:1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet
Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the
LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.
2Ki 20:2 Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,
saying,
2Ki 20:3 I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked
before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done [that which
is] good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
2Ki 20:4 And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle
court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,
2Ki 20:5 Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, thus
saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I
have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt
go up unto the house of the LORD.
2Ki 20:6 And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
7. discerning of spirits
Spirit of discernment
This is a gift of God that helps an individual to see into the very soul & spirit of person and know a cause of sickness. In this case it is an emotional soulish and spiritual sickness which in turn was defiling many through witchcraft. Heb 12.15
Act 8:23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and [in] the bond of iniquity.
8. [divers] kinds of tongues
Rom 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know
not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh
intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Rom 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what [is] the mind
of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to
[the will of] God.
9. interpretation of tongues
Interpretation of tongues
GOD HATH SET SOME IN THE CHURCH
FOR THE PERFECTING OF THE SAINTS
(Eph 4:11) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
(Eph 4:12) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
(1 Cor 12:28) And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
(29) Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles?
(30) Have all the gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
(31 KJV) But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet show I unto you a more excellent way.
(James 5:14) Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
(15) And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Lesson 12
Different ways to heal
1. The Role of Deliverance in Healing
Because we acknowledge that all sickness is directly or indirectly from the devil
Different spirit afflict the human body, we also realise that in order to bring healing, in many cases we would have to evict the intruding spirit by force in the name of Jesus, so that healing can take place.
TOUCHING, AND REBUKED
Mat 8:15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
(Mark 1:30) But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her.
(Mark 1:31) And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.
(Luke 4:38) And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.
(Luke 4:39) And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.
(Mark 9:25) When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
(Luke 11:14) And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered.
(Mat 9:32) As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.
(Mat 9:33) And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
(Mat 12:22) Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
(Mat 15:30) And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them:
(Mat 15:31) Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
(Mark 7:37) And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
(Mark 9:17) And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;
Mat 12:22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil,
blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and
dumb both spake and saw.
Mat 12:23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son
of David?
24 But when the Pharisees heard [it], they said, This [fellow]
doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every
kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or
house divided against itself shall not stand:
26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself;
How shall then his kingdom stand?
27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your
children cast [them] out? Therefore they shall be your judges.
28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the
Kingdom of God is come unto you.
29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and
spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? And then he will
spoil his house.
Commanding Demonic forces to leave in Jesus name
Act 16:18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned
and said to the spirit,
I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And
he came out the same hour.
2. Laying on of hands
Mar 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Mar 5:23 And besought him greatly, saying my little daughter lieth at the point of death: [I pray thee], come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
There is a anointing impartation of healing that takes place when hands are laid on the sick person in faith which God uses to heal
Laying on of hands must done with discretion
3. Aprons and handkerchiefs.
(Acts 19:11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
(Acts 19:12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
The ministry of sending aprons & handkerchiefs for the sick to be healed is as relevant today as it was then
4. VAGABOND JEWS, EXORCISTS
(Acts 19:13 then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
(Acts 19:14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
(Acts 19:15 and the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
(Acts 19:16 and the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
5. Anointing with oil the person who is sick
Jam 5:14 Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Jam 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Mar 6:13 And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed [them].
There is no healing power in the oil, it is the act of faith combined with Gods instructions that brings healing
6. Speaking the Word
Mat 8:8 the centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
(Prov 18:21 KJV) Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Psa 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered [them] from their destructions.
Mar 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe
that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
CLAIMING THE WORD OF GOD
What Things Soever Ye Desire
Mar 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them].
What is a mountain?
In the context of healing it could be sickness, disease etc
7. TOUCHING, AND REBUKED
Mat 8:15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
(Mark 1:30 KJV) But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her.
(Mark 1:31 KJV) And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.
(Luke 4:38 KJV) And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.
(Luke 4:39 KJV) And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.
Touching a person can act in reverse as well
Luk 8:45 And Jesus said, who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press [thee], and sayest thou, who touched me?
Luk 8:46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
Mat 14:35 And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;
Mat 14:36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.
8. Claiming the word of God
Heb 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2Co 1:20 For all the promises of God in him [are] yea, and in him
Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
9. SHADOW OF PETER
Act 5:15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid [them] on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
Act 5:16 There came also a multitude [out] of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
The extent of the shadows reach was the extent to which Gods power and presence in Peter was being released. You too can have the same result.
The evidence of the manifestation of God Spirit in healing is (1 Cor 12:1) Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren; I would not have you ignorant.
, (1 Cor 12:7 KJV) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
10 CONFESSING GODS WORD
Isa 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet
we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
Isa 53:5 But he [was] wounded for our transgre
