This band is comprised of top-flight musicians, including: Phil Brigham, Lead Guitar/Vocals; Steve DuBois, Bass Guitar/Vocals; Joe (J. D.) Foster, Drums/Vocals; and Jeanie Lovering, Lead Vocals/ Percussion.
Jeanie was the proud recipient of the Mass. Country Music Awards Association (MCMAA) Female Vocalist of the Year Award for 2004/5, and was nominated again for 2005/6. In addition, Jeanie was nomininated for both Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist categories for 2006/7. The band has also been nominated for Best 4-Piece Band of the Year, for the third year in a row.
Phil is an accomplished award-winning musician, whose talents include both lead and bass guitars. He sings a great song and has composed music featured in Hollywood films. Steve is an outstanding bass player and really gets the crowd dancing with his upbeat vocals. Joe ("J. D.") is one of the best drummers in the business; and, in fact, J. D. was voted "Best Drummer of the Year" by the MCMAA membership for 2005/2006!! He also received the "Board of Directors Award" for his contribution, encouragement and support of his fellow musicians and the Association in Massachusetts. His knowledge of the music business in the New England area is impressive. Jeanie has been compared to the much-loved songstress Patsy Cline. She also has extensive experience in the Jazz genre, having performed with such notables as: Trombonist Dennis Wilson, Production Manager for The Count Basie Orchestra; Bassist Walter Urban, of Dizzie Gillespie's Orchestra; Saxophonist Dick Johnson, Leader of the Artie Shaw Band; and Pianist Al Vega, well-known Boston-area Band Leader.
In addition, Jeanie recently recorded "I'm Burnin' All the Memories", written by Anna Marie Burden, on a compilation CD comprised of 21 artists called, "New England Country Stars (Past and Present)".
Jeanie Lovering & Chameleon is a very talented and versatile band, performing Country Western, Classic Rock, and "Oldies" equally well. They were nominated for the MCMAA's Horizon Award for 2004/2005, and again for Best 3-4 Piece Band for 2005/6 and 2006/7.
