The Excellent Surf and Skate Site

This page was made by some cool middle schoolers that like to skate and surf.

About the Authors


I, Jon, like to skate and play baseball. I play baseball in El Segundo Babe Ruth League and on the Redstixx, a travel/club team. Whenever I can I like to skate at the skating circle(in El Segundo) or at the teen center. I go to ESMS and live in El Segundo. I also play the drums in a band with David.

I, David, like to surf, play baseball, and play water polo.
I surf at El Porto after school and on the weekends. Even though I am just about the worst person out there, I still have a lot of fun and am getting better fast. I play baseball in the El Segundo Babe Ruth league, and like it a lot. I also play waterpolo when ever I can. I go to El Segundo Middle School and live in El Segundo. I play guitar in a band with Jon.





Skating Spots in El Segundo

Skating Circle- In the Rec Park it is a nice skate spot with a 4 gap 4 and a 3 stair and many ledges and more stairs.

Teen Center- Has some rails, boxes, quarter pipe, ramps and can chill inside also.

Scouthouse- Outside of a boy scout place is a nice ledge and 4 stair. Also some long waxed up curbs and ledges.

Community Baptist Church Skate Park: In theparking lot of the church on sundays (3-5) is a nice skate park with all kinds of stuff (fun boxes, 8 and 5 foot quarter pipes, rails, low boxes, banks, and a sweet picnic table!) It's also open friday nights.





Surf Spots in Manhattan Beach and El Segundo

Pratt's reef- It is a new reef that they just built and are still adding to. It is supposed to get really good and be a perfect wave, but it only breaks when the bigger swells come through.

Grand Ave. Beach- This is probably the worst spot that you can surf at in all of the area.

El Segundo Gette- On the south side of the gette there can be a nice right that breaks a little smaller and a little better form that the areas around it.

El Porto- This can be the best spot to surf at in the area at most times. Some nice swells come through in the winter.

Marine Street- This whole area breaks about the same or mabe a little bigger and with less shape than El Porto or the Gette.
