Unger's WWE Pay-Per-View Picks
NO WAY OUT
This event looks to be one of the greatest that the WWE has had in recent memory. Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and Hollywood Hulk Hogan will be making their returns to in-ring action on this night. It should be electrifying.
Predictions
Eric Bischoff vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin
This match shouldn’t be a long one. Stone Cold may not be able to put on a good ring performance as he has been out of action for about 8 months, but he should do okay. This match will probably just be Austin kicking Bischoff’s ass for a while and then hitting him with a stunner and winning the match. Lots of people I talk to are looking forward to this contest. It should be a good one.
The Rock vs. Hogan II
A return match from last year’s WresteMania. This is the match I’m really looking forward to witnessing. I’m sure their match at Now Way Out will be even better than their confrontation at WrestleMania X8. That’s because this time, Hogan’s going to come out on top. This match is probably going to be the night’s main event. I don’t see anything that could be more important than this fight.
Scott Steiner vs. Triple H
World Heavyweight Championship
This match is going to be exciting. I’m looking forward to this one as well. I really enjoyed their match at the Royal Rumble, and now that their rivalry has been going on for a while, this match should be even better than the last one. I know lots of people out there think that there is now way Triple H can beat Scott Steiner. But let’s not forget about that little evolution quartet. I’m sure Ric Flair has a foolproof plan that guarantees a win for Triple H.
Team Angle vs. Brock Lesnar/Edge/Chris Benoit
This is going to be one hell of a fight. It should be non-stop action from bell to bell. All 6 of these men are great athletes and great entertainers. This is going to be one of the better matches of the night. I’m betting on Team Angle to win this very close battle as Kurt Angle will pin Brock Lesnar.
Test vs. Chris Jericho
This match is the hardest one for me to predict. It really could go either way. Many people, including myself, think Test is ready to go to the next level in this business. A win over Y2J would help immensely in doing that. But I still don’t think Test is going to win his match. He’s going to come close on several occasions, even hitting Jericho with the big boot at some point during the match, but Jericho will emerge victorious at No Way Out.
