HE RIDES ON THE CLOUDS
MATTHEW 24:3-44, As Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him in private. “Tell us WHEN ALL THIS WILL HAPPEN to show that IT IS THE TIME for YOUR COMING and the END of the AGE.”
4) JESUS answered, “WATCH OUT, and DO NOT let anyone FOOL YOU. 5) Many men, claiming to speak for me, will come and say, ‘I AM THE MESSIAH!’ and they will FOOL MANY PEOPLE. 6) You are going to hear the noise of battles close by, and the news of battles far away; but DO NOT BE TROUBLED. Such things MUST HAPPEN, but they do not mean that the end has come. 7) Countries will fight each other; kingdoms will attack one another. There will be FAMINES and EARTHQUAKES everywhere. 8) ALL these things are like the FIRST PAINS of CHILD BIRTH.
9) “Then you will be ARRESTED and handed over to be PUNISHED and put to death. ALL MANKIND will HATE YOU because of ME. 10) MANY will GIVE UP THEIR FAITH at THAT TIME; they will BETRAY one another and HATE one another. 11) Than MANY FALSE PROPHETS will appear and FOOL MANY people. 12) Such will be the SPREAD of EVIL that MANY people’s LOVE will grow COLD. 13) BUT whoever HOLDS OUT to the END WILL BE SAVED. 14) And this GOOD NEWS about the KINGDOM will be PREACHED through ALL the WORLD for a WITNESS to ALL MANKIND; and then the END WILL COME.

15) “You will see ‘THE AWFUL HORROR’ of which the PROPHET DANIEL SPOKE. It will be STANDING in the HOLY PLACE.” (Note to the reader: understand what this means!) 16) “ Then those who are in JUDEA must run away to the hills. 17) A man who is on the roof of his house must not take the time to go down and get his belongings from the house. 18) A man who is in the field must not go back to get his cloak. 19) How terrible it will be in those days for women who are pregnant and for mothers with little babies! 20) Pray to God that you will not have to run away during the winter or on a Sabbath! 21) For the TROUBLE at that TIME will be far more TERRIBLE than any there has ever been, from the beginning of the world to THIS VERY DAY. Nor will there ever be anything like it again. 22) BUT GOD has already REDUCED the NUMBER of DAYS; had he not done so, nobody would survive. For the SAKE of his CHOSEN PEOPLE, however, GOD WILL REDUCE THE DAYS.
23) “Then, if anyone says to you, ‘LOOK, HERE IS THE MESSIAH!’ or THERE HE IS!’ - DO NOT BELIEVE HIM. 24) For FALSE MESSIAHS and FALSE PROPHETS will APPEAR; they will PERFORM great miracles and wonders in order to DECEIVE even GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE, if POSSIBLE. 25) LISTEN! I HAVE TOLD YOU THIS AHEAD OF TIME.
26) “OR, if people should TELL YOU, ’LOOK, HE IS OUT in the DESERT! ’ DON’T GO there; or if they say, ’LOOK, HE IS HIDING HERE!’ - DON’T BELIEVE IT.
27) For the SON OF MAN WILL COME LIKE THE LIGHTNING WHICH FLASHES ACROSS THE WHOLE SKY FROM THE EAST TO THE WEST.
28) “Wherever there is a dead body, the vultures will gather.
29) “ SOON after the TROUBLE of those days, the SUN will grow DARK, the MOON will NO LONGER SHINE, the STARS WILL FALL FROM HEAVEN, and the POWERS in SPACE will BE DRIVEN FROM Their COURSES. 30) THEN the SIGN of THE SON OF MAN WILL APPEAR in THE SKY; and ALL the peoples of EARTH will WEEP as they SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS of HEAVEN with POWER and GREAT GLORY. 31) THE GREAT TRUMPET will SOUND, and HE will SEND out HIS ANGELS to the four corners of the EARTH, and they will GATHER HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE from one end of the WORLD to the other.

32) “ LET THE FIG TREE TEACH YOU a LESSON. When it’s branches become green and tender and it starts putting out leaves, YOU KNOW THAT SUMMER is NEAR. 33) IN the SAME WAY, when you SEE ALL THESE THINGS YOU WILL KNOW THAT the TIME is NEAR, READY to BEGIN. 34) Remember that ALL THESE things WILL HAPPEN before the PEOPLE NOW LIVING have ALL DIED. 35) HEAVEN and EARTH will PASS away, but MY WORDS will NEVER PASS AWAY.
36) “No one KNOWS, HOWEVER, when that DAY and HOUR will come - neither the angels in heaven nor the SON; THE FATHER ALONE KNOWS. 37) The COMING of THE SON of MAN will be LIKE what HAPPENED in the TIME of NOAH. 38) In the days BEFORE the FLOOD people ate and drank, MEN and WOMEN MARRIED, up to the VERY DAY Noah went into the BOAT; 39) yet THEY DID NOT REALIZE WHAT WAS HAPPENING until the FLOOD came and SWEPT them ALL AWAY. THAT is HOW it WILL BE when the SON of MAN COMES. 40) At that time two men will be working in a field: One will be TAKEN AWAY, the other will be LEFT BEHIND. 41) Two women will be at a mill grinding meal: one will be TAKEN AWAY, the other will be LEFT BEHIND. 42) WATCH OUT THEN, because you do not know what DAY your LORD will COME. 43) If the owner of the house knew the TIME when the thief would come, you can be SURE that he would STAY AWAKE and not let the thief break into his house. 44) So then, YOU ALSO MUST ALWAYS BE READY, because the SON of MAN will COME at an HOUR when you are NOT EXPECTING HIM.

MATTHEW 25:1-13, “At that time the Kingdom of Heaven will be like this. Once there were ten girls who took their oil lamps and went out to meet the BRIDEGROOM. 2) Five of them were FOOLISH, and the other five were WISE. 3) The FOOLISH ones took their lamps but DID NOT TAKE ANY EXTRA OIL with them, 4) while the WISE ones TOOK CONTAINERS FULL of OIL for their LAMPS. 5) The BRIDEGROOM was LATE in COMING, so the girls began to NOD and FALL ASLEEP. 6) “It was already MIDNIGHT when the CRY WRANG OUT, ‘HERE IS THE BRIDEGROOM! COME and MEET HIM!’ 7) The ten girls WOKE UP and TRIMMED their LAMPS. 8) Then the FOOLISH ones said to the WISE ones, ‘ Let us HAVE some of YOUR OIL, because our LAMPS are GOING OUT.’ 9) ‘ NO, indeed,’ the WISE ones answered, ‘ there is NOT ENOUGH for YOU and for US. Go to the store and buy some for yourselves.’ 10) So the FOOLISH girls went off to buy some oil; and while they were GONE, the BRIDEGROOM ARRIVED. The FIVE girls who were READY went IN WITH HIM to the WEDDING FEAST, and the DOOR WAS CLOSED. 11) “Later the OTHER girls ARRIVED, ‘Sir, sir! LET US IN!’ they CRIED OUT. 12) ‘CERTAINLY NOT! I DON’T KNOW YOU,’ the BRIDEGROOM answered.” 13) And JESUS CONCLUDED, “ WATCH OUT, then, because you DO NOT know the DAY or the HOUR.

2nd TIMOTHY 3:1-9, Remember that there will be DIFFICULT TIMES in the LAST DAYS. 2) People will be SELFISH, GREEDY, BOASTFUL and CONCEITED; they will be INSULTING, DISOBEDIENT to THEIR PARENTS, UNGRATEFUL, and IRRELIGIOUS; 3) they will be UNKIND, MERCILESS, SLANDERERS, VIOLENT, and FIERCE; they will HATE the GOOD; 4) they will be TREACHEROUS, RECKLESS, and SWOLLEN with PRIDE; they will LOVE PLEASURE RATHER THAN GOD; 5) they will HOLD to the OUTWARD FORM of OUR RELIGION, but REJECT IT’S REAL POWER. KEEP AWAY FROM SUCH PEOPLE. 6) Some of them GO INTO PEOPLE’S HOUSES and GAIN CONTROL OVER WEAK WOMEN who are BURDENED by the GUILT of THEIR SINS, and DRIVEN by ALL KINDS of DESIRES, 7) WOMEN who are ALWAYS TRYING to LEARN but who can NEVER COME to KNOW THE TRUTH. 8) As JANNES and JAMBRES were OPPOSED to Moses, So ALSO are THESE PEOPLE OPPOSED TO THE TRUTH - PEOPLE whose MINDS DO NOT FUNCTION and who are FAILURES in the FAITH. 9) But they will NOT GET VERY FAR, because EVERYONE will see how STUPID THEY ARE. That is just what happened to Jannes and Jambres.

1st THESSALONIANS 4:13-18, Our brothers, we want you to KNOW THE TRUTH about those who have DIED, so that you will NOT be SAD, as are those WHO HAVE NO HOPE. 14) We BELIEVE that JESUS DIED and ROSE AGAIN, and so we believe that GOD WILL TAKE back with JESUS those who have died BELIEVING IN HIM. 15) What we are TEACHING YOU NOW is the LORD’S TEACHING: WE WHO ARE ALIVE on the DAY the LORD COMES will not go AHEAD of those who have DIED. 16) There will be THE SHOUT of COMMAND, the ARCHANGEL’S VOICE, the SOUND of GOD’S TRUMPET, and the LORD HIMSELF will COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN. Those who have DIED BELIEVING in CHRIST WILL RISE FIRST; 17) then WE who are LIVING AT THAT TIME will be GATHERED UP ALONG WITH THEM in THE CLOUDS TO MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR. And so WE WILL ALWAYS be with the LORD. 18) So then, ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER with THESE WORDS.

1st THESSALONIANS 5:1-13, There is no need to write, you BROTHERS, about the TIMES and OCCASSIONS when these things WILL HAPPEN. 2) For you yourselves KNOW very well that the DAY of the LORD will COME as a thief comes at NIGHT. 3) When people say, EVERYTHING is QUIET and SAFE,” then SUDDENLY DESTRUCTION will HIT THEM! It will COME as SUDDENLY as the PAINS that come upon a WOMEN in LABOR, and PEOPLE WILL NOT ESCAPE. 4) BUT you, BROTHERS, are NOT in the DARKNESS, and the DAY SHOULD NOT TAKE YOU BY SURPRISE like a thief. 5) ALL of you are PEOPLE who BELONG TO THE LIGHT, who BELONG to THE DAY. WE DO NOT belong to the NIGHT or to the DARKNESS. 6) So then, we SHOULD NOT BE SLEEPING like the OTHERS; we SHOULD be AWAKE and SOBER. 7) It is at NIGHT when people SLEEP; it is at night when they get DRUNK. 8) BUT we belong to the DAY and we SHOULD BE SOBER. We must wear FAITH and LOVE as a breastplate, and our HOPE of SALVATION as a HELMET. 9) GOD did NOT CHOOSE US to SUFFER HIS ANGER, but to POSSES SALVATION through OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, 10) who died for US in order that we might LIVE together WITH HIM, whether we are ALIVE or DEAD when HE COMES. 11) And so ENCOURAGE one another, and help one another, just as you are now doing.

2nd THESSALONIANS 1:1-17, Concerning the COMING of OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST and our being GATHERED TOGETHER to be WITH HIM: I beg you, my BROTHERS, 2) Not to be so EASILY CONFUSED in your THINKING or UPSET by the CLAIM that the DAY of the LORD has come. PERHAPS it is thought that we said this while PROPHESYING or PREACHING, or that we wrote it in a letter. 3) DO NOT let ANYONE DECIEVE YOU in ANY WAY. For the DAY will NOT come UNTIL the FINAL REBELLION takes place and the WICKED ONE APPEARS, who is DESTINED to HELL. 4) HE will OPPOSE EVERY so - called god or OBJECT of WORSHIP and he will put himself ABOVE them ALL. He will even GO IN and sit down in GOD’S TEMPLE and CLAIM to be GOD. 5) Don’t you REMEMBER? I TOLD YOU all this while I was WITH YOU. 6) YET THERE IS SOMETHING THAT KEEPS THIS FROM HAPPENING NOW, and you KNOW WHAT IT IS. At the PROPER TIME, then, the WICKED one WILL APPEAR. 7) The mysterious WICKEDNESS is ALREADY at WORK, but what is GOING to HAPPEN will NOT HAPPEN UNTIL THE ONE WHO HOLDS IT BACK IS TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY. 8) Then the WICKED ONE will be REVEALED, but WHEN the LORD JESUS COMES, He will KILL HIM with the BREATH FROM HIS MOUTH and DESTOY HIM with HIS DAZZLING PRESENCE. 9) The WICKED ONE will COME with the POWER of SATAN and PERFORM all kinds of FALSE MIRACLES and WONDERS, 10) and USE every kind of WICKED DECEIPT on those who will PERISH. THEY WILL PERISH because THEY DID NOT WELCOME and LOVE THE TRUTH so as to be SAVED. 11) And so GOD sends the POWER of ERROR to work in them so that they BELIEVE what is FALSE. 12) The RESULT is that ALL who HAVE NOT BELIEVED THE TRUTH, but have TAKEN PLEASURE in SIN, will be CONDEMNED.
13) We must THANK GOD at ALL TIMES for YOU, BROTHERS, YOU whom the LORD LOVES. For GOD CHOSE YOU as the FIRST to be SAVED by the SPIRIT’S POWER to MAKE YOU His HOLY people and by YOUR FAITH in the TRUTH. 14) GOD CALLED YOU to this through the GOOD NEWS WE PREACH to you; He CALLED YOU to possess your share of the GLORY of OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. 15) So then, OUR BROTHERS, STAND FIRM and HOLD ON TO THOSE TRUTHS which we TAUGHT you, BOTH in our PREACHING and in our LETTER. 16) May OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST Himself and GOD OUR FATHER, who LOVED US and in HIS GRACE gave us UNFAILING COURAGE and a FIRM HOPE, 17) ENCOURAGE you and STRENGTHEN you to ALWAYS DO and SAY what is GOOD.

NOTE: IN VERSE 7 IT speaks about the one who is holding back this Wickedness and is taken out of the way; WELL right now it is the Christians and the PRESENCE of the HOLY SPIRIT DWELLING IN THEM. When JESUS COMES and GATHERS US TOGETHER in the CLOUDS and takes us to HEAVEN in the RAPTURE, then THIS WICKEDNESS and DESRUCTION will FOLLOW, but GOD WILL SPARE HIS PEOPLE from the WRATH that is COMING UPON THIS EARTH. Although after the RAPTURE, the LOVED ONES and people we tried to warn who DID NOT BELIEVE US, will have to SUFFER the CONSEQUENCES of not LISTENING; BUT, there is still hope for you, if you can hold out to the END. May GOD BE with you and GIVE YOU STRENGTH to ENDURE. AMEN!

MATTHEW 25:31-46, “When the SON of MAN COMES as KING and all the ANGELS with HIM, HE will sit on HIS ROYAL THRONE, 32) and the people of ALL the NATIONS will be GATHERED before HIM. Then He will DEVIDE them into TWO GROUPS, just as a SHEPHERD separates the SHEEP from the GOATS. 33) He will put the RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE at His RIGHT and the OTHERS at His LEFT. 34) Then the KING will SAY to the people on His RIGHT, ‘COME, you that are BLESSED by MY FATHER! COME and POSSESS the KINGDOM which has been PREPARED for YOU ever since the CREATION of the WORLD. 35) I was HUNGRY and YOU FED ME, THIRSTY and you GAVE me a DRINK; I was a STRANGER and YOU RECEIVED ME in YOUR HOMES, 36) NAKED and YOU CLOTHED ME; I was SICK and YOU TOOK CARE of ME, in PRISON and YOU VISITED ME.’ 37) The RIGHTEOUS will then answer HIM, ‘WHEN, LORD, did we ever SEE YOU HUNGRY and FEED YOU, or THIRSTY and GIVE YOU a DRINK? 38) WHEN did we ever SEE YOU a STRANGER and WELCOME YOU in OUR HOMES, or NAKED and CLOTHED YOU? 39) WHEN did we ever SEE YOU SICK or in PRISON and VISIT YOU?’ 40)
