Welcome to Izaiah James Carpenter's webpage. He and his mommy Jen and daddy Bryan thank you for visiting. Please visit us often as we are just up and running and will have more pictures and info in the future.
Izaiah was born on 08 28 01 at 7:06 pm. He was 4 weeks early and weighed 3lbs 5oz and was 16 3/4 inches long. He has a cleft palate,a clubfoot,p-acc and a whole lot of personality!!! He was in the NICU for 31 days and came home on 09 28 01 weighing in at a whopping 4 lbs 7 oz!!
Izaiah is now 6 mths old and doing very well. He rolled over at 2 mths, can almost sit up by himself, and LOVES to stand in your lap with his hands held. These are great accomplishments considering he was in a hip to toe cast from the time he was 2 weeks old until he was 4 mths old and he now wears special shoes with a bar between them 23 hours a day. These procedures are to correct his left clubfoot. He will hopefully be done with the shoes by May. Izaiah has early intervention once a week to help stimulate him to new ideas and things and to aid in his development. He also has physical therapy once a week to help with his foot and leg and to help promote more "tummy time"!
We are constantly amazed every day with how well he does and we thank GOD every day for the precious miracle he brought into our lives!
