I.P.M.S. /MIDSTATE MODELERS of Asheboro
I.P.M.S./MIDSTATE MODELERS of Asheboro, N.C. is a model club catering to all aspects and interests involved with the building of plastic scale model kits. We were established on January 27, 2000 and we meet on the LAST thursday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hobbies Unlimited located at 1211-c Shana Lane next to highway-64 east.
We ask $1.00 from each member each month for membership. This covers anything from postage to any club related events and has resulted in our first upcoming contest event.
I.P.M.S./MIDSTATE MODELERS of Asheboro,with 21 members ranging in age from 15 to 65 is pleased to announce our first contest event this coming September 15, 2001 at the Peddycord Aircraft Museum from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The awards handed out for each category are PROFESSIONALLY done and reflect the appreciation for a well-built entry. There will be food onsite and a National Guard display along with all the full size aircraft of the museum. (B-25,TBF AVENGER,etc.) We also plan to have several vintage automobiles from the local street rod association.
