IPMS/Flight 19, Fort Lauderdale

Do you build scale models? Would you like to improve your modeling skills and meet fellow modelers?

International Plastic Modelers' Society / Flight 19 is Broward County's chartered member chapter of IPMS/USA.

We meet once a month to share techniques and discuss new trends in the hobby. Members bring in their completed models and newly released kits for everybody to share and review. We try to sponsor a contest/show every year. Many members compete in competitions at other Florida chapters of IPMS/USA.

We have members who build aircraft, armor (tanks), ships, cars (race & street), science fiction, fantasy, figures and anything else you can imagine. We pride ourselves on being a very laid-back and easy going group.

Come to a meeting and check us out. Our meetings are held the second thursday of every month at 7:30pm at the Valencia Village Recreation Center, located on University Dr. in Davie just south of I-595. The entrance is on the west side of University Dr., just south of Burger King. Go in the driveway to the stop sign, turn right and then turn immediately to the left.
